Just received and I like them a lot!

First one is a Kaktus Drifter Original 24/24mm 155/80mm with a polished Drifter buckle. It gives a nice long tail, it's soft and comfy.

Second one is an ammo strap 24/24mm 145/80mm 4.6mm thick, with a sewn-in Firenze 1938 buckle. Made by Zeugma Straps.

Love both, but the Zeugmas are especially nice. I've also had my eye on at least one Zeugma, but everything on their website says SOLD!

I agree.. the Zeugma looks MUCH better than the Micah. The leathers of our Turkish guy friend are AMAZING..!!!

You know they can custom make you most of the straps you see in their website right?

PM panera and he might be able to help you too ;)

Hey! You stole Dluddy's sweater, Gianton! :p

Awesome straps. I like the Drifter, but it reminds me of Greg Stevens' Crazy Horse. The Zeugma is perfection, including of course, that 1938 buckle.

I see that V appreciates Nuri's work. When a Greek can say something good about a Turk, you know it's gotta be good.

Wear them in good health, and keep posting pics of the straps! :tu:

Very nice straps Antoni... what do you think of them compared to my Greek hide?

It's like comparing Mozart to Beethoven, you can't do that!

Zeugma specialise in one-off straps. For example, this was made from a Turkish medical doctor's bag of the 1940s.

So soft, and supple, but unfortunately when I wanted one done for the Fiddy, Nuri said there was none more. The bag yielded enough only for that strap (and leather case).

That's part of the appeal of Zeugma. Chances are, you're the only one in this world with that strap.

Same here, I wanted one at first made from the same leather as this one, but Nuri advised that no more of this leather available. It was a saddle bag.

Actually

She is a gipsy lady who has a hipnotic looks. I saw the original mosaic at museum.

There's a controversy about who it is, but yes, they call her the Gypsy Girl, I heard. :)

Anyway, Alexander the Great had hair the colour of straw, and green eyes (according to Plutarch and others). Here is a modern rendering of how he might've looked:

EDIT: Harpo the Great?

All I can say that she follows you with her eyes and hipnotise ....:)

Mmm, sexy! The Mona Lisa of Turkey.
