asands Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 www.magrette.com seems to be a few different companies copying them these days
Chronus Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 It's a 100% original design, but why did they rip off Richemont/Panerai's marketing strategy with limited editions? Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...
tenacious_b Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 looks like someone took an alpha and just printed a different name on it.
Willith Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 Looks like a micro-rotor mov't... Looked like a "regular" rotor to me, unless that was a super sized picture. It looks like that have some nice Panerai minus the crown guards. They are only $240 each, so not that bad of a price and they are 3 ATM water resistant.

Yep, I took a second look I was hoping for something interesting... Just took a second look at the site. Looks like a decent watch at a fair price. Edited June 20, 2006 by oswald
kasigi Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 I said before and I'll say again - I'm going to buy one of the M&S jobbies (when I can find a shop that has them in)! K.
bres3000 Posted June 20, 2006 Report Posted June 20, 2006 I would not care to own a watch named "Margaret."
Willith Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 I would not care to own a watch named "Margaret." Why not, you can refer to it as a "she". Like, "Isn't she a sweet watch?" or "She's pretty sweet, huh?" or "She needs to go to the jeweler for a lube and a buffing".
