jgpp63 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Hi, which watches came with the famous Polex engraving on the case? Want to avoid if possible, thanks again
Stephane Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 If you come across a Polex, get it. It's a so called MBW/MBK and probably the best rep available
freddy333 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I have only seen it on some vendors' versions of the Double Red Seadwellers. Or were they Subs????????
iceberg1459 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 My MBW sub had engraving between lugs "Orig. Pollx Design"
Sir-Lancelot Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Org Polex Design on my MBW 1680's too. I wish I had the Gelena Shitinerand case back.
Stephane Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Yup some Polex on other Rolex indeed...but very few Shitinerand
Omega Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I have a modern 16610 without wholes in the lugs. It's a real MBK-Polex...
iceberg1459 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I have a modern 16610 without wholes in the lugs. It's a real MBK-Polex... Is THAT the one i sold you?? If its that you modded it great
LordRasta Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Hi, which watches came with the famous Polex engraving on the case? Want to avoid if possible, thanks again That's the one you want. You'd be lucky to find one.
jgpp63 Posted April 22, 2008 Author Report Posted April 22, 2008 That's the one you want. You'd be lucky to find one. Just thinking that they've made a very nice watch and slipped up on something very basic which would be very simple to fix but they appear to be still using it looking at the sub without lugholes.
indyberetta Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I bought one a few years back that was an all gold Polex wrapped case and band with the famous "[censored]" on the case back. I still have it, but it is in pieces now...what should I do with it??????
Omega Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Is THAT the one i sold you?? If its that you modded it great Yes, it's your watch! I am waiting only for the dial, the date-wheel is still laying here around... Thank's again for the great deal!

It's their signature. They sign their masterpiece... If there is no Polex, then it is not a good "genuine" rep
Jimmythree Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 quote = The Polex-ones are rare collectibles. /quote How many of you have a clasp with: RBGSFRKED SNSAWABE on the left side of the rolex logo... and D12 STEBLHOX 62523N.18 on the right Just me probably.
llsteve80 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Org Polex Design on my MBW 1680's too. I wish I had the Gelena Shitinerand case back. Oh ya? I use it as a tray to hold hands, case clamps, etc. I do smile every time I see it though:

radiohead101 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 My military style (no crown guard) submariner says "Orig Poley Design" (not Polex), is this a rare case too?
GloStiX Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 ^^^ I got one of those BWNGSKRK STEHLBOX engraved clasp Subs before too, my frist rep actually.
Guest carlsbadrolex Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 No, this was only done on the Daytonas and early Day/Dates... Come on Freddy, you know this!
kevin300z Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 I have a 1680 polex and a blue tt sub polex.
iceberg1459 Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Yes, it's your watch! I am waiting only for the dial, the date-wheel is still laying here around... Thank's again for the great deal!
