rosnik Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Hi gang! I'm happy to introduce you the last Stilty, Frankie Rolly. I received two days ago , I only take it to my watchmaker that get time regulation to the COCS MIDO 12892, and get 5 ATM weatherproof test. All passed without problems. I want to get my thank you to Trevor (Stilty) who kindly let me to became the proprietary of this beautiful piece. So, for technicians info, ask for the expert builder Trevor, not to me ! please. I LOVE THIS GREAT GRAY DJ! Nico
slickdick Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Nice piece... love the dial/bezel combo! a classic keeper.
rosnik Posted April 23, 2008 Author Report Posted April 23, 2008 post a pic of the PIMP bezel, I love it! it's only blank positioned! I'm deciding if to get or not this serti bezel. Or....
Heywood Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 Definitely a keeper, but I'd leave the bezel alone. Trevor builds a mighty nice watch!
lazarini Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 awesome!!! love it great combo ... im with Heywood don't mess it up with that pimped out bezel ... laz
freddy333 Posted April 23, 2008 Report Posted April 23, 2008 I agree -- great job. But keep the pimp bezel off that watch -- it makes an otherwise beautiful watch look like a cheap fake.
stilty Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Hey Nico, If you ever do change the bezel, let me know... I'd gladly buy that engine turned bezel back from you. Nice pics btw! enjoy!
Shundi Posted April 24, 2008 Report Posted April 24, 2008 Damn you! I wanted this watch!!! Haha, in all seriousness, enjoy that thing and if you ever want to sell that baby, lemme know!
rosnik Posted April 24, 2008 Author Report Posted April 24, 2008 @Trevor : No, be sure my friend, the serti dials was "only Blank fixed"and only for photographic purpose........... The 'Great GREY' all SS, is and stay like it was from you . @Trevor2: Do you like to get one little watch description for our friend?
stilty Posted April 25, 2008 Report Posted April 25, 2008 @Trevor2: Do you like to get one little watch description for our friend? Sure, Franken 16220 Datejust. Proper engine turned bezel to match case number. Gen rolex dial that is a real beauty and not very common. genuine rolex date disc, genuine rolex jubilee bracelet. aftermarket hand set. Powered by an ETA 12892 COSC certified movement. This is a chronometer grade movement with certification number engraved on the mainplate. These movements are very high quality. You can just tell when you manually wind them. They are silky smooth and effortless. No whirring or swishing sound, or any other noise. They have the feel of a genuine Rolex. What do you think Nico, can you feel the quality of the movement? The movement is perfectly fitted to the case with perfect stem alignment so no snapping or binding or the stem and the crown screws down perfectly. I'm glad your watchmaker took the time to regulate the watch back to COSC standards and also make sure it was waterproof. Enjoy!

I can only get it in paragon only with my Gen DJ ! The feeling is the same as GEN and the smooth running and hour /Date regulation is 3135 movement like. I want to get my thank you , again, to Trevor ! The Tuxedo Great Grey is really fantastic!
stilty Posted April 26, 2008 Report Posted April 26, 2008 Nico, I was browsing around the 'bay and stumbled upon this. 140226080006 For a second I thought you had listed it. LOL! As you mention "feel", that is something that can't be repped. Not only does your new watch look gen, it definitely has a gen "feel" pic of the gen being auctioned.
rosnik Posted April 26, 2008 Author Report Posted April 26, 2008 @Trevor: Thank you Trevor, but your one is better!!
