predfan2001 Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 I haven't been around much since it has warmed up. I've been riding my motorcycle (and mod'ing it..lol) a bunch and I'm still sporting my old franken 5513. This is by far the best watch I have ever had. I never reset the time. It takes the abuse (you should see all of the scratches). Still waiting on my SFSO from Silix. It's been months but I did request a vintage Sub case for a Tudor project. Gotta run. Happy motor'ing!
Sir-Lancelot Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 looks good on you. It's hot as hell here for early June.
predfan2001 Posted June 5, 2008 Author Report Posted June 5, 2008 (edited) Ah a triumph???? Nope. A Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom. I have a friend that has a Triumph Speedmaster...and he likes Omegas. Go figure. Edited June 5, 2008 by predfan2001
By-Tor Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 I love that 5513. I've said this before, but all the no-dates you've built are outstanding. Very believeable.
Stephane Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Lovely watch and great photos too. Those no dates are simply ....simple beauties
Justasgood Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Nice pics P'fan..........I think your skills go unlauded so.......Great looking watch!
dieselpower Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Great looking watch. I'm a big fan of abused timepieces, love those scratches, to me they are the icing on the cake of a believable vintage rep. We all bang on about detail and font accuracy etc etc but the moment you see a brand spanking new looking vintage piece it screams rep to me so keep up the daily wear, get it scratched and scratched some more never polished and I reckon you could fool even the most anal WIS.
freddy333 Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 I am impressed.......& that says something coming from a Yamaha rider Who wears a SD (at left)
