predfan2001
I haven't been around much since it has warmed up. I've been riding my motorcycle (and mod'ing it..lol) a bunch and I'm still sporting my old franken 5513. This is by far the best watch I have ever had. I never reset the time. It takes the abuse (you should see all of the scratches). Still waiting on my SFSO from Silix. It's been months but I did request a vintage Sub case for a Tudor project. Gotta run. Happy motor'ing! predfan2001
Ah a triumph???? Nope. A Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom. I have a friend that has a Triumph Speedmaster...and he likes Omegas. Go figure. Edited June 5, 2008 by predfan2001
By-Tor
I love that 5513. I've said this before, but all the no-dates you've built are outstanding. Very believeable.

dieselpower
Great looking watch. I'm a big fan of abused timepieces, love those scratches, to me they are the icing on the cake of a believable vintage rep. We all bang on about detail and font accuracy etc etc but the moment you see a brand spanking new looking vintage piece it screams rep to me so keep up the daily wear, get it scratched and scratched some more never polished and I reckon you could fool even the most anal WIS.
