I hope I will be able to get myself an old Alfa Romeo Giulia or Junior again one day I was to young to keep it when I had the chance to own it and drove it untill it died ... I saw a DB9 earlier, and whilst I think they are beautiful cars, it would not have the same neck jerking reaction from me that the DB5 would get. A true classic! I was once stopprd at a light with a Bentley GT, and ALL the attention went my baby, 1973 Stingray. This guy was very young looking to drive this car and I guess we would love to be as fortunate as he is He even bought an interresting plate Cheers Stephane One of my (old-enough-to-have-bought-from-new) neighbours has an original '65 DB5 stashed away - not in the famous Thunderball 'battleship grey' though, jet black, very cool I love the car - just behind the 300SL Gullwing in terms of innovation and aesthetics. But the guy in Brussels just kills it with that hideous and cheesy plate. Probably a restoration job also. Not that many originals in private hands. Thing is if he ever loses/sells/writes off the car, he'll be stuck with a plate that just won't suit any other car. Why DB anyway? Why not JB?
