I had a discussion with Taka and Coolfire yesterday with regards to whats gets repped well and what doesn't....

it all boils down to this...... The factories have no sense of good taste.

Come on!!!! the C1? Not many actually busted their credit limits in gtting that one, did they? The sharp drops in prices is a clear indication that its an utter failure

I think they should rep FF and rep it well ... a breath of fresh air from the Omegas, rollies and tags. Blanpain brand awareness is not great so rep wearers will not get called out too often or if at all.

Its a nice watch... truth to be told i even considered getting the genuine but things changed when i handled the gen. in Vienna at an AD.

Still a gorgeous watch nevertheless a good rep would be a nice alternative.

Actualy there's two. Bill Yao's company MKII enterprises makes a homage version of the 3H model used by German Navy combat divers.

If they make a 50 they should make an 3H as well. They would make a nice pair in a double box.

I actualy prefer the very plain 3H to the civy version. The crown at 4 makes a nice change as well. Note the markerless bezel. With rebreathers your endurance is mesured off the hour hand! It's just so unadorned and allmost stark. The MKII shows this to even more effect with even less on the dial.

It allmost feels like it belongs in the Tate.

The problem here lies with the fact that allthough bound to be popular here on the boards it prob won't do that well out in the wild. Joe average won't buy it in droves. And Joe buys many more watches than we do 'cause there's ten million Joes out there and about thirty thousand of us.

That Presista looks like a nice watch Andy. Around $500 US, it's a little more expensive than a rep, but with a good 2824-2 and WR to 200 meters, it wouldn't be a 50 yard dash in the rain, so to speak. Very nice.

I have heard that there may be another Limeted edition next year with the original movement and plexy glass!
