Guest farquar Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 Fantastic watch...Congrats on a very well thought through project:) May I ask what the final cost was if you dont mind?
mastergod Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 Well Rolls Royce What can I say that I haven't said about your earlier projects, among which are the SLOB and other amazing unique pieces? I don't know what you do for a living - but Panerai should double your pay and get you on their team. You have the appropriate amount of love AND the appropriate amount of logic (a rare combination) to be - what you are - the master. When I see your projects I react with 1) Awe 2) Envy 3) Respect 4) Inspiration Gold is not my cup of tea, but that's besides the point. It's great. Hey Rolli...keep it up!!! Ooops! Just thought of a challenge (&please excuse my blunt spontaneity): Design a watch from scratch! I'd buy a Rolli (or whatever it would be called) any day (if I could afford it)....go for it dude. You are better than the brand you love. MG
pizzanooo Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 I`ll say it again, that is F**king amazing. Totally blown away on the work on it. Damn, you got some nice pieces.
StormTooper4 Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 Thats is so damn cool Rolli, even the screws and buckle are gold. awesome work a big congratulations to you ST4
rolli Posted September 14, 2008 Author Report Posted September 14, 2008 dear friends, thousend thanks for the kind words. of course i'm looking always for a new challenge, thats my addiction. after i've seen the result of the 201A gold, promptly grew the idea to make also the 201A in steel. next week i will calculate the complete price for all these workings. the most tricky work was to cover the case parts with the special varnish, that nerved a bit. but the result is amazing. normally a gold watch is not my thing, but this pam with its technical design and in gold, thats really outstanding. further have a great time here on board and a lot of greetings to all rolli
vootzilla Posted September 14, 2008 Report Posted September 14, 2008 It's ugly on ur wrist... u should let it come to me instead! :-D
