ubiquitous
For some strange reason today, I got a very strong urge to put together a very unique, limited edition 1 of 1 never before seen watch. After brainstorming for about 5 minutes or so, the concept was born, and I went to work immediately! Ladies and gents, it gives me great pleasure to introduce the FOLEX UBI-ARINER! Ta-daaaa! Brian
The font is all wrong on the numbers, and it should say "no" m, not 00m. I'd send that dial back and get a more correct one. 8^) B

ubiquitous
Haha... Thanks, gang. Had a bunch of parts left over and thought it would be fun to do something hokey like this. Was quick and easy to do... Think I spent all of 20 minutes doing the whole thing, including trimming down the dial to fit the case. I'll be tearing the watch down again to do a couple of small minor changes, and then it'll be done, and ready to collect dust
ubiquitous
Here's how the dial looked prior to the changes; still living in it's old case...

ryyannon
That 1/1 Folex ranks right up there with Nanuq's faxable WristWrapWatch in the annals of RWG crasiness...
kasigi
I like it but the real icing would have been to just have the middle prong of the crown remaining, remove all the others and the impression would have been of middle finger rudeness

I had the same thought, actually, while I was inking in the dial. That may be a change that will be implemented in the next revision. I'm also looking for some silly hands to go with it. I have a few ideas....
