Tips to Maintain Your Brain!

1. Head first: Your brain needs care to stay healthy.

2. Take brain health to heart: Do something every day to prevent heart disease, high

blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke.

3. Your numbers count: Keep your body weight, blood pressure, and cholesterol and blood

sugar levels within recommended ranges.

4. Feed your brain less fat!

5. Work your body 30 minutes each day!

6. Jog your mind: Keep your brain active, play games, learn new things, do puzzles.

7. Connect with others: Converse, volunteer, join a club, or take a class.

8. Protect your brain: Use a seat belt, unclutter your house, use a helmet.

9. Avoid unhealthy habits: Don't smoke, drink excessive amounts of alcohol or use street

drugs.
