Demsey Posted January 8, 2009 Report Posted January 8, 2009 Someone bumped an old thread from 06 regarding Eddie Lee. This was the first replica I bought, sourced from EL. I haven't worn it it years, but thinking of EL and the old days it's seeing some sun light. As an 'out-of-the-box' '04 rep it has serious flaw with regard to today's standard, especially considering the company in this thread, on this site, but, for the personal history on these boards it represents I wouldn't trade it for anything less than a genuine. Even then it would be a push.

Strangely, I briefly put my Sub on yesterday, just to see what I thought, and I immediately ripped it off I guess that means GMT = Sub = in my scheme of things... Oh well... Demsey, remember when I said about combining a GMT and a Submariner? That's what I came up with

Hey By-Tor, long time no heard Hope your season holidays were nice. The GMTII is not bad at all. I would say it this way: I prefer it to the 16570 I traded it for but much lesser than any Sub. So my guess is that it might be traded + cash for a 1680 one day...hopefully in 2009
