Sherrington Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 good job but still not perfect and wouldn't fool a rollie expert
freddy333 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 A beautiful creation, Tribal. A couple of things to consider are replacing the rep bracelet with a gen (or, at least, a proper vintage gen clasp without the 2 grooves on the flip-lock) & swapping the modern 703 Triplock for the older 702 (which has the 3 dots closer to the coronet). And, if you are feeling daring, resizing (widening) the index markers at 6 & 9. That makes a big difference.
cib0rgman Posted January 11, 2009 Report Posted January 11, 2009 @Tribal, what process do you use to bleach the insert I have a pwmf insert from helen wong and would like to fade it
Tribal Posted January 11, 2009 Author Report Posted January 11, 2009 Thanks guys, I know there is much more to do. This is not my watch and I took what was available for the watch. Vintage Crowns are damn hard to find this days. I have them installed on my vintages. To bleach take some chlor stuff like clorix or similair.

Thanks for the advice I tried that before, but did not work. How long do I need to let the insert in Bleach Regards
