docblackrock Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Very nice, another for your collection of "humungous chunky dive watches with orange bits". Out of curiosity, how close is the beadblasting result to a colour match with real Ti?
coolfire Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Yeah..Me likey too... Looks like one helluva monster!
Nanuq Posted June 15, 2009 Author Report Posted June 15, 2009 Very nice, another for your collection of "humungous chunky dive watches with orange bits". Out of curiosity, how close is the beadblasting result to a colour match with real Ti? The effect is very much like Ti when it's by itself; you'd never think it was just a bead blast. But when you put it up against real Ti then you can see a small difference. It's not quite as dark and menacing as the real stuff.
