5. I just measured one of my gen dials, 3.55 x 1.3mm on both markers. Any difference between the two on a rep dial is a flaw.

 6. I've had a high quality Miyota powered quartz Bell n Ross rep for four years and its still purring away on it's original battery.

I would very much advise against a big baller watch in a profession where you are running and moving and shaking all day long. These big watches beat up your wrist bone when they move too much.

If you have a meaty wrist, this may not apply to you, but my bone is prominent.

 7. Do you know what QC pics are for? Is that the watch you ordered? Yes? Then buy it. If you had concerns about the shaping of the '2' character, ask about that before payment.

 8. I believe the dimensional differences you are seeing on gen Subs are due to visual/camera angle aberrations. Except in cases of manufacturing variations (those that Rolex QC have missed), the rectangular markers should be the same size. I used to have a video in my archives showing how the markers are applied to modern Sub dials (the rectangular markers all come from the same receptical on the line regardless of where on the dial they go), but I cannot seem to locate it just now. You can probably find it on youtube though. It puts alot of these types of Rolex myths to bed.

 10. If the hand clearence works out, yes! Also the stem hight is slightly different but most tubes have enough tolerance to accept the difference.

 11. Even I got that Besides the taller canon pinion It''s bases on availability. As he 2824 and 2836 are almost the exact same apart from the aded day function on the 2836 they use what ever they can get their hands on. When it comes to quality both movements are the same.

 13. Got 35k miles on her since 2011. Gas guzzler, but the diesel convention is coming next year. For now she's got the updated ring and pinion to 4.86 rolling on 35" tires. Last night in the snow the drive was more than fun

 14. Agreed. The exterior design & the interior design both downgrades to me. I really like the 2003 - 2009 E series frames a lot more. Definitely befits the Benz style to me. The new ones are too much like the C class cars - which in my opinion are way too cheap to be considered a Benz

 15. It has been pretty reliable and good car. I really like the chassis... it's quite sturdy. We have lots of those "speed bumps" here and you can drive over them 60 km/h. I test drove the new 2010 model but I think it's a downgrade (chassis wise). It's way too soft and Frenchy. I'm not a car fanatic but if I had to buy a car for myself I'd get something older... these new cars are sterile and have no soul. These are more to my liking.
