  1. I may be flamed for this, but I believe that the watch was substantially misrepresented by the seller. It's very difficult to imagine that the movement came loose, although it's possible. The website link was in my estimation a definite deception, why send someone to a website that shows a much better quality watch than what is being sold. I believe that we are going to have to take a much more proactive position as to policing the sales areas. mistakes can happen, but it is incumbent on the seller to represent the watch, strap, part, etc. as accurately as possible. Being a raw nob, you were pretty easy to take advantage of, which is not all your fault. Older more experienced members should try to make sure a new member is aware of the condition of a sales item, not use that as an opportunity to take advantage of their ignorance.

  5. Thank you much  It's a very very slow process lol I used a mix of 800-1000 grit sand paper. Very lightly pass the crystal back and forth. If you go too hard, sapphire pieces will begin to chip off and leave cracked dents. Test fit and keep sanding. Take your time. If it's still too tight, dont use a presser because the glass will shatter, learned that the hard way. Once it's a good fit, use a microscopic pinch of apoxy around the rim of the case back and set it in place. Wipe of any access apoxy with a moist rag and polish with a cape code for that clear water finish. Good luck

  6. Thanks it's an old gen croc strap with gen buckle found on eBay. I got lucky, it is my favorite strap I have ever owned. Just enough wear to give character but still in great shape. It's tobacco color but looks black in the pics. Got a decent deal too. Took several weeks of looking everyday before we finally found one to go with this watch. Actually Matt and were both looking and both found this one around the same time. Sent from my droptop using telepathy.

  7. The noob version is the best but expensive. Buy from kuvarsit Amanda is nice to deal with. Or get it fromToro. The bp version is ok and cheaper you can get that from most trusted dealers

  12. Never bought from them before but a friend of mine did and he was fine with the service. Though I don't think he's a TD here. So it's up to you. I would highly recommend ordering from the trusted dealers. The Noob version is the best so far. 16. So you're a Breitling man I still have to find one that I really like And I think that a good part of my disaffection is made by the English name of the brand. The other half is about the busy dials...
