  1. Here is what can be done without a single expensive part: Silx case, HR dial and hands, Athaya crown and Yuki bracelet. The case was totally reshaped, the steel bezel was reshaped, then sandblasted and brass plated. The hands were stripped down to the bear brass and the Yuki bracelet was repolished for a more accurate look. A very honest watch with lots of character !!!!

  3. What's crazy is by how much the stem height is misaligned and the fact that it appears the tube positioned was moved to make it worse. I'm not even a watch maker and I can see how bad it is. For god's sake it misses the entire movement. Lol I just need some advice about why it's so far off and then I'm sure either I can fix it or I can find someone who can. Thanks for the offer but I don't think I'm ready to sell yet.

  4. Back to PAM 441 vsf. Swapped the straps. The straps came from my 613 which is 26/27 but since no tube and the sides were a bit worn, i was able to squeeze it in. Looks better IMO as I like the color of the strap, closer to gen than the other one which was too light in color Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

  6. I would recommend the chequebook warrior approach on this and pay the Texan tight wad. JMB will get it done

  7. Well, it's certainly not for lack of complication or intricacy! This Breguet movement is pretty good indication that complex movements can be reverse engineered and duplicated. Rather, I think the Valjoux 7750 base movements for sec at 6/12 have staying power because... Well, they sell. And if they sell as-is, there's not a lot of motivation to change that, right?

  8. Thanks, gang! Anymore... 36mm just feels right for me. Every so often, I'll enjoy the 201/A or 3646, but the smaller size just feels more comfortable on the wrist!

  9. Okay... First off, I apologize for the very crude, sloppy pics, but I snapped these in a hurry... 570 with an oversized 130; both are about the same diameter (~35mm/36mm): 16622 with the 130: 16234 with the 130: Trio:

  10. Yes, really wearing it today! Darn thing keeps great time actually! But more importantly, this is a fun hobby and this watch is really fun!
