Well, the maintenance tasks are finished. As a result the rating system is gone. I will give you a very visual example of why it had to go. I loaded up the front page of RWG and did a refresh on it a couple of times. Let me show you some interesting numbers; Load time of our forum front page before rating system was removed; Load time of our forum front page after the rating system was removed; No further comments should be necessary from me Also, the Bump-feature was re-added. It had somehow disappeared, but is back for admins, mods and supporters: By hitting that button, you can bump your own topics instead of posting a new meaningless "bump"-post.

Looks like a problem with the fan belt on the search engine Should be OK now

I'm just going to add this single post to this thread before I go back on my forum leave: Sure, the timing on this is not the best and to be honest, I do not like this at all. But TTK has made his own bed here. This is not about his customer service, him being rude or members who have not received their watches yet (Most likely received the watches you have ordered from him, because TTK has never scammed a member). There is only one reason why he has been banned from the forum: The threats I have received from him, both in writing via Skype chat and also by voice, via Skype. I have up until two days ago considered TTK to be a good "online" friend, but I will not tolerate threats from any forum member and that is the reason he is no longer welcome here.

Dunno how long it will be before it's back. Might be an hour might be 6. Routing problems at the ISP.

Hey all......Like everybody here has said; Great meeting you all.....Yes, the admin was there Could NOT let this GTG happen without me attending. Still not home due to a mixup with my airline tickets, but I can spend some time online at the airport then This has been an incredible weekend. Arrived in Brussels friday evening and got picket up by Stephane who drow us to the hotel. After a quick make up check in the hotel room, I joned Stephane in the hotel bare, where we had a couple of drinks before we went out and enjoyed a great meail at a very nice Thai-restaurant. The company was great and I had to admit that meeting Stephane was like meeting an old friend. We could probably have stayed up a lot later than we did on friday, but we had a busy saturday ahead Spent the day sigth-seeing in Brussles before we (my better half was also there) went to Stephane in the afternoon. Came about 20 minutes before the rest of the people and Andy and Stephane had insisted on that I should not reveal my true identity until later that afternoon, so for a while I was Stephanes friend who was visiting So for a couple of hours I knew nothing about watchs and I had nothing to do with the forums Again, it was an incredible evening. So much fun to meet all the members and get a face and a person "tagged" to a forum name. SO many nice people and it was so interesting to watch the first...10 minutes...everybody was on their best behaviour, drinking, mingling, etc...no watches was in sigth, except for Stephanes watches in the watch corner. Then all of a sudden one of the members just had to get a watch and the fuse was lit. "I'll have to get one also..." I have a couple"...within a couple of minutes there were watches eveywhere, casebacks beeing removed, people looking at watches throught the loupe, etc. Soooooo much fun! Everybody are incredible friendly people and we actually had problems tearing us away from all of this to go to the restaurant. Big fun at the restaurant, with a big quiz (I wasn't allowed to participate Curse this forum knowledge I believe everybody left the restaurant happy, with new sticky balls and other prices. Back to Stephanes place for more watch talk and more drinks. As Yellomen said; I think we all left at about 5 in the morning. Andy/Stephane: You guys did a GREAT job with all of this and it was a pleasure to finally meet you face to face. I am sure we will meet again! Same goes for all the other members. A great pleasure meeting you! Also a big thank you to the dealer who provided prices. All I can say is that those who did notcome, sure missed a great GTG. but there is always next time Yello and Stephane: When can I reserve space for you in our country house?

Have you ever spoken and wished that you could immediately take the words back or that you could crawl into a hole? Testimonials of a few people who did. 1. I walked into a hair salon with my husband and three kids in tow and asked loudly, "How much do you charge for a shampoo and a blow-job?" I turned around and walked back out and never went back. My husband didn't say a word, he knew better. 2. I was at the golf store comparing different kinds of golf balls. I was unhappy with the women's type I had been using. After browsing for several minutes, I was approached by one of the good-looking gentlemen who works at the store. He asked if he could help me. Without thinking, looked at him and said, "I think I like playing with men's balls. 3. My sister and I were at the mall and passed by a store that sold a variety of candy and nuts. As we were looking at the display case, the boy behind the counter asked if we needed any help. I replied, "No, I am just looking at your nuts." My sister started to laugh hysterically, the boy grinned and I turned beet-red and walked away. This, my sister has never let me forget. 4. While in line at the bank one afternoon, my toddler decided to release some pent up energy and ran amok. I was finally able to grab hold of her after receiving looks of disgust and annoyance from other patrons. I told her that if she did not start behaving "right now" she would be punished. To my horror, she looked me in the eye and said in a voice just as threatening, "If you don't let me go right now, I'll tell Grandma that I saw you kissing Daddy's pee-pee last night!" The silence was deafening after this enlightening exchange. Even the tellers stopped what they were doing. I mustered up the last of my dignity and walked out of the bank with my daughter in tow. The last thing I heard when the door closed behind me were screams of laughter. 5. Have you ever asked your child a question too many times?! My three-year-old son had a lot of problems with potty training and I was on at him constantly. One day we stopped at Taco Bell for a quick lunch in between errands. It was very busy, with a full dining room. While enjoying my taco, I smelled something funny, so of course I checked my seven-month-old daughter, and she was clean. Then I realized that Danny had not asked to go potty in a while, so I asked him if he needed to go, and he said "No." I kept thinking, "Oh Lord, that child has had an accident and I don't have any clothes with me." Then I said, "Danny, did you have an accident?" "No," he replied. I just KNEW that he must have had an accident, because the smell was getting worse. Soooooo, I asked one more time, "Danny, did you have an accident?" This time he jumped up, yanked down his pants, bent over and spread his cheeks and yelled: "SEE MOM, IT'S JUST FARTS!!" While 30 people nearly choked to death on their tacos laughing. He calmly pulled up his pants and sat down. An old couple made me feel better by thanking me for the best laugh they'd ever had! 6. This had most of the state of Michigan laughing for 2 days and a very embarrassed female news anchor who will, in the future, likely think before she speaks. What happens when you predict snow but don't get any. A true story. We had a female news anchor who, the day after it was supposed to have snowed and didn't, turned to the weatherman and asked: "So Bob, where's that 8 inches you promised me last night?" Not only did HE have to leave the set, but half the crew did too they were laughing so hard!

Hey Chief. Nothing unusual is going on. We still get anything between 20-50 new signups every day and only a couple now and then who experience problems. I have received a couple of e-mails from people who have had problems this weekend and all of them should have received a reply from me by now. Some people might have been waiting a couple of days, as I have been out of town for the weekend -

You should be able to use the current rating system for this: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=45839 Upgrade link is in the top right corner. This will take you to a page with all the info you need -
Whew....you are going to get so much trouble!! If there is anything illegal that Paypal will block your account for, it is large trojan kangaroos and not to mention overstuffed rabbits that manage traffic. I believe they even sent some of their snipers to the last guy who paid for such items using paypal. Fortunately for this guy, PP used their own service paying the sniper and wrote "Sniper service" in the comment field and the sniper never got the money because the account was locked

@capice You can only rate others posts. @all The rating system puts several different kind of "loads" on the server. Instead of giving you a very technical explanation (unfortunately, this is very complicated ) I'll just say that the older version of the rating system was not so tightly integrated into the forums built-in caching system, while this version is supposed to be better. But a fast board is more important than ratings, so if there are no improvements or if the system start using lots of system resources, it will be removed again.

Yes. Fixed now.
