If your patient you can get a head only for even less then just add a rep jubilee bracelet or whatever you fancy.

Get a nice vintage DJ, you can always swap the dial out, plenty of gen dj dials about, obviously I’m not anti rep but it’s not worth putting that much into a franken when a gen is in reach.

Save a little more and you can buy a gen DJ for that money.

Depends on your budget. Your looking at $1000.00 minimum for a cartel st19 based watch up to $6000.00 plus for a Vietnam V72 Daytona. There are a lot of variables to take into account.

Hi guys, what are the available options for a 19mm braclet to fit a cartel Daytona? I’ve recently acquired a very nice modded 6239 from @sputim which came with a leather strap. I’d like a bracelet so as far as I’m aware my options would be: Gen with cartel endlinks, a rafflestime oyster or rivet or a yukiwatch oyster. Is there any other options I’m missing? Period correct would be a folded link band, (although I’d prefer a later oyster band) but I’m also considering a rivet band which I like the look of even if not strictly period correct for a late sixties 6239. Any advice on the best option would be appreciated. Thanks.

Really nice. For our benfit what part of the vn bezel needs to be machined? I read this a lot but it’s never very specific. Also which dealer did you get those dial from if you don’t mind sharing?

Yes but some are better than others.

this will walk you through fitting a gen spec dial. A lot is achievable if you have the skills. Take a look at rolojacks and slays posts to see what’s possible with a cartel base.
