What a thread .... it took me some time to find out if the discussion was about the dials , the numbers or some kind of smoking stuff. Any way , just a question guys ... and I am not a IWC expert and I didnt examined the IWC portug Rep under a magnifying glass. The first think that it striked me was the color of the dial. The gen has a clean white dial color , where the rep it looks like it has a "silvery with white snow flakes" (????!!!!) color. Am I wrong ???? If am I wright, to me this is the biggest fault.

If I remember well , we have seen many reps of these (and with the chronos too) about a year ago. Not so sure but I think Joshua , Andy , River and maybe TTK had some of these. You all mean what I think you mean or you mean something different. Seriously now , other thansome specific panerai models which are trully different (188,193, gmt , etc...) some are pretty much the same watch. Marketing tecnique to introduce a new model which is basically an old one with some "face lifting". ......... but I guess not everybody shares the same opinion.

Bold and thicker numbers for gen bezel. So far only EL and Andy have some good ones. EL's is better but wrong date fond. Andy's has good date fond but has silver (sort of gun color) rings around the dot marks. .... rep makers dont want to make this damn thing right.

You dont need to be shamed for not knowing how to fix your reps. 95%+ of the members here are on the same situation as you ....... and that's normal.
