the difference with eurotimez is even if there is some slip in QC he'll ALWAYS make it right. I've heard horror stories from other dealers and also really good experiences. I've never heard nightmares with ET and so far i've paid the premium for the insurance of him making it right, not so much the QC.... although it would be nice if it were consistent. ET offers peace of mind and pre shipping photos of your EXACT purchase. who else does that?
my vote goes for the seiko as well. EXCELLENT watches just too common (not necessarily a bad thing) I have a hand wind from the sixties thats never been serviced and it keeps excellent time despite being dropped and scratched up.
I dont think the new gen speedy will be perfect or even a moon watch. Ive had zero problems with the venus movement over two watches over two years plus the display back is awesome and a legit case back for gens. But i guess we'll have to wait and see what this new generation of speed rep looks like
would you recommend this bezel ring mod for a noobmariner sub? I have a cn sub bezel ring, and a noobmariner sub lying around. I like the shape of the ring on the cn sub bezel and it's a bit wider in diameter, but is it more correct than the stock noobmariner sub in terms of height and teeth?
if you get the CHS and never adjust it, but do common adjustmensts like setting the time and date like on a non gmt watch will it still suffer problems?
I say wait and see the YM offering from BK-WM9. If it's as good as it's being built up to be then you may have a wallet saving alternative that satisfies.
how much Paypaled and shipped to North America? Which dealers moon rep did you use? im wondering if theyre all the same dimensions since different dealers have slightly varrying versions
i think its a low end rep with a sweep chrono second hand (21j standard auto) and to not lose the appearance of the sub dials they made them function as day date 24 hour time instead of minute/hour counters
Does anyone have any experience with any aftermarket retaining ring, and bezel ring for a modern sub 16610?
how's the quality? and will it fit an MBK sub and provide a bezel ring of correct height so no retaining ring sanding is NOT necessary?
thanks

perhaps the top of the crystal gasket expands and contracts with the temp change ever so slithly letting the exchange of moisture happen. Just wondering why this doesn't happen on my noobmariner.
Chefcook- what brand of sealant did you use, and how and where did you apply it?
thank-you.
just curious
is there a directory of all parts and part numbers for this sub including drawings somewhere? like the exploded technical drawings of ETA movements from ETA
