  1. Hey cougaree, thanks for the response my friend. Yes apparently this watch is brand new from dealer (hes had it a YEAR and never worn it......) its a nice watch though, guy seems nice too. I have requested some way to verify the movement so will wait on that! Hey Red. Appreciate the input and advice. Have requested some way to verify the movement.....I will need to check the date wheel....although it doesnt look sunken (maybe its a good idea if I post a pic?) hehe. Jim, I can not tell whether it has this feature.......if its a 188 then it should have it right? I have requested confirmation of this as well as the movement photo Thanks mate. Hey Drulee......I dont think its been relumed......It looks like everythings riding on the movement with this one I cant see a pusher at 10, so have asked whether it does have this. Really appreciate the response my friends, youre great!!. Will get back with details on the movement.......
  2. Hey guys, hope youre well. Need some quick advice, have done a quick search on the forum too but I cant find an obvious answer....... Basically looking at the following model: PAM 188 Daylight Chrono, white dial, with genuine Swiss 7753 movement & SS bracelet Seller says it was bought from Josh a year ago (its never been worn) and it has a gen 7753 movement. He bought it for $800 or so...... My question is: What would the trade value on such a watch be? Appreciate any feedback. Thanks guys (and gals if any).......
  3. Looks like a UPO Tolis........Im sure guys are just teasing you here, making you sweat a little Youre lucky, it seems the "600m/2000ft" spacing is correct too (usually it is more condensed i.e. doesnt span all the way under "chronometer"). Looks like a good example of a UPO........ Hope you get it soon
  4. No white Baton love for my friend Deniz?......
  5. I agree and disagree with most of the comments......... I agree with chief that yes the major flaw with the rep Batons is the fact that they are a solid one piece (and given they take up most of the dial is very easy to spot).....but its something thats easily changed i.e. you can get a gen dial which seem to be fairly readily available. However, I doubt this would be noticeable to people who dont know their watches, and unless you get "THAT" moron who's dying to call you out and inspects your watch like a mouse looking for cheese then it shouldnt be a big issue..... Just depends what you can live with yourself......
  6. Because I know why you have posted this.......
  7. The good looks of the Sub will never get tiring........Amazing watch, congrats D!
  8. How come you havnt picked a BS up already R? A few have popped up on the sales forums.........or were you always too late to grab it? Will keep an eye out and holla if I see one soon.... @ asimplefarmer: Looks great on the blackbard.......is that a gen clasp too?
  9. IF it is a 1:1 construction "with gen used as reference" + 316F steel, then I would say the extra $50 is worth it.......
  10. Hahahahahahaha Deniz you make me laugh buddy.......... Ill post a blue batons sometime soon
  11. Im diggin' Hikes combo too.... althhhouuugggghhhhh, with the grey dial you might want to try a grey strap too? Like a grey CF or Sharkskin?.....
  12. Master Ubi, I am in total awe and filled with envy!!! Its extremely beautiful......Definitely smokin on the oyster bracelet......

I would absolutely love to put together a Snowflake some day too.....Need time, patience and a bit of free moolah too!! Its worth it though......Snowflakes got tons of character (and def shifts from the classic sub look)..... Good luck with the project collin!
