  1. I had had the middle click removed on my ETA 2846 for my 5513. I don't know if my watchmaker also remove any other date related parts though.
  2. I'm sorry they don't. I made a mistake. I was 100% sure the one from Yuki had been improved to take gen bars but from what I just read it doesn't seem like it. I have the folded bracelet from the cartel and it needs the last middle link to be bent open a bit to allow gen spring bars and probably a new pair of end links. I'm wearing it with the spring bars it came on at the moment.
  3. 1: Start with trimming the insides and see how it looks. It's easy to go to far if you don't check your progress often. 2: Yuki's riveted here. Or the folded I mentioned here.
  4. IIRC it's Yuki's riveted bracelet that is good. LHOOQ recently reviewed and adviced against buying Yuki's folded bracelet at that point The reason was it didn't properly fit a 5513 case, or just about any other case either for that matter and you couldn't replace the endlinks for better ones. Though i must say from the pictures it looks VERY good. For folded bracelets the cartel 7836 may be an acceptable alternative.
  5. Both with the classic noob and the noob gmt ii c, which is the same case as the noob sub c. I've never had any trouble with any of them. Just make sure the crystal is pressed, case back closed and the gaskets greased.
  6. Rep. Crown guards and crown position. Also the sels look a bit different than gen, in the photos at least. Another thing I thought of was the bezel teeth and the shape of the "4" on the insert. Though the bezel font may vary depending on the year? But then it wouldn't be correct for a no lug holes case? And shouldn't the date font have seriffs? Of course, it's easy to believe you're seeing tells when you're starring at the screen looking for them...
  7. I KNEW it! Exactly what justasgood was saying.
  8. You are probably right. I was thinking more of general wear and stretch that occurs in the hollow bracelets.
  9. That's part of the charm, and also the reason why many thinks Rolex are overpriced junk... I think they were meant to be lightweight and comfortable in the old days. Today they're using solid links which gives them a heavier more expensive feel and also lasts longer.
  10. Perhaps you could install a TC crown from his parts sale? It's only $20 incl. tube and looks very nice judging from the photos.
  11. The washer will not make the bezel easier to turn, it's meant to lock the bezel in place when you're not turning it. With the washer installed it acts like a spring and you have to press down the bezel ring to turn it.
  12. I have a Yuki installed on my MBW 5513 with a drop of loctite. I prefer it due to the long neck that screws into the case, it feels very secure. My watchmaker tested it to 10 bar.
  13. And don't forget about the crown height... I can agree about the inner corners of the CG's, new looking dial and hands should have a case with a sharp look to it still, imho. A matt tritium dial on the other hand can have a softer looking case, and it would even help rep parts blend in.
  14. Ok. It looks really nice and it fits the case perfectly. Does it have 93250 stamped on the bracelet and clasp?
  15. Thanks for your reply. Is this the one?
  16. Is that Yuki's solid midlink bracelet? How is it compared to the PT?
  17. I would say gen bezel is on the right due to the deeper engraved teeth and different slope.
  18. Looks good. Was it difficult to fit the gen movement?
  19. Interesting. Can you tell us more?
  20. What are the differences between the stock MBW dial and the ingod. I've never seen either of them irl.
  21. I believe it was the other way around. The MBW1680s were just 5513s with 1680 markings stamped on them, so the rehaut was actually a bit to small to be used with a gen 1680 dial. You could make it fit with some sanding of either the dial or the case. The current MBW 5513 cases will accept a gen 5513 dial without problems. There have been some nice MBW frankens posted recently.
  22. The $10 aftermarket pearls from watch material looks almost exactly like the gen, the lume is a bit more yellow though. But the clear lens is there. Anyway, if you're only going to do one mod on your wm9 a gen insert is the way to go imo.
  23. Congratulations on a nice watch. Which rep case is this made from?
  24. Yeah. What's the source for these?
