They've built in future business for themselves. I wonder if they're selling books on how to start your own internet business and cash in on it at the local book stores in China.

Yeah, I remember reading about Seiko's history on a gen forum. I was surprised by their acheivements and history. They're one of the few "manufacturs" in the world. It's just that they produce their in-house movements by the thousands rather than small numbers like the Swiss. Definitely a capable company. By the qaulity/feel of the MM's and Orient Stars I'd say they know what they're doing.
The Seastar is a pretty good watch. I hope you're not having crown/stem problems like I did with mine. Sorry to say she didn't stay long, but for the price it's a pretty good watch. I'm a lume freak and that thing had NO lume.
