Well yeah, had they scanned it it wouldn't have mattered what you told them it was or how you packaged the watch.

Concealing it inside a doll might seem like stupidity, but it worked for me.

Or have them put the watch inside a toy doll. I did this for another member in Southeast Asia. I bought a doll ripped it open, put the watch inside and sewed it back up. Got there without a hitch.

I like it and if these are anything near the quality of the RXW's I'd look into buying one.

Good tip Andy. I had the same problem. On a tangent... would anyone have a push pin and the sleeve available for sale? On one of my bracelets I lost a push pin and the sleeve and need a replacement. PM me. Thanks. z

Yep, it is true. I've done it a few times before I found out, but luckily I didn't damage anything.

Hi and welcome Joe. It looks like you got lucky and got the manual wind movement, which is more correct than a quartz. Enjoy the forum it's a great place with even better members.

I think it all depends on the the bells & whistles (i.e. options/upgrades) you choose to get on a rep. Obviously, a rep with upgrades will cost more, but you could be that much closer to a more gen like rep, but if that's not important than you could just get yourself a base rep and save the extra cash.
