  1. I've noticed that some cases are not as wide as some others, hence the different size screw tubes. One thing that might solve your problem is getting those push pin type that look like screw tubes. I forget where you can get them, but I'm sure someone will chime in with that info. Good luck.
  2. I didn't know his exact age, but he still looked like he is much older than he actually is.
  3. Saw Hugh Grant on an episode of Top Gear and surprisingly the guy looked like he's aged 20 years. He had grey hair in many places and had wrinkles all over. Looked like he hasn't aged well at all.
  4. Looks pretty cool, but what will we do with our watches???
  5. I'm sorry guys, but this girl is anything from being cute. Nice PAM though.
  6. ^^^ This is good advice. I can't tell you how many 6497's that I've thrown at the wall already.
  7. Thanks By-Tor. @carlsbadrolex: I think I'm beginning to go down that same path as you are with regards to reps.
  8. Wow great pics and write up lani! Enjoy and thanks. P.S. How is the lume on this watch? Anything near the quality of the Graham CF's?
  9. Opening up a watch and drooling over the movement is one thing, but meddling around inside of it is completely different. I'd suggest saving yourself from lots of heartache and just leave that stuff to the experts.
  10. Thanks guys for the info. Well... the search continues.
  11. Anyone know who sells the best PAM187??? Thanks.
  12. Got a 750T Mil Shark currently and had a 1000T and recently 5000T too. I flipped them both, but I'm going to keep my Mil Shark. They're great watches and with an incredible history, but I wonder if they're popular enough that they'd rep one. Would like to see one though.

I seriously doubt it. I've never seen one. Anyone else?
  14. Well then, it's obvious that the bezel is removable like any other PAM then isn't it.
  15. LOL I was referring to the fact that you didn't post a pic of the exact watch.
  16. I'm not exactly sure which model you're referring to, but all PAM's have removable bezels. Some are just difficult to remove. Good luck.
  17. Welcome to the forum and the madness asiparks! Like you, most of us end up here haphazardly and not many deliberately seek out a rep forum. I think you'll enjoy your stay. We have some of the best, yes the best, members on the internet. My first piece of advice is to read and learn as much as you possibly can before buying more reps as the learning curve can be difficult and expenisve if you're not careful. Good luck.
  18. Yes she is a beaut isn't she? Welcome to the club and enjoy.
  19. A buddy of mine has several Accutrons and I was surprised by their quality and craftmanship. They are very good "bang for the buck" pieces and seemed high quality.
  20. Well I have gotten my hands on a rep Super Avenger and I took the shinny new bezel off of it. The thing is the spring/clip thing flew off into outerspace and I can't find it. I did it with a caseback opening knife and it was pretty easy. Just make sure to be careful and use pressure all along the entire circumference of the bezel and not in just one area. Apply some opening pressure to one area, move on to another and do the same. Do this all along the outer rim of the bezel and it should pop off easily. It did for me. Good luck guys.
  21. I don't think the screws have anything to do with the bezel staying in place. You have to get a caseback opening knife or something similar and have to slide it in between the bezel and the case, very carefully, and "pop" off the bezel. Be very careful not to cut off a finger or ruin your watch. Good luck.
  22. Congrats on your new addition. Yes, those Vostok's are a great bang for the buck enjoy.
  23. A few of my buddies have the gen of this watch and after having seen the watch up close and personal I think it will be a difficult watch to rep correctly. There are lots of minute details to this watch that can make repping it difficult, but I wouldn't mind seeing it done.
  24. I wholeheartedly agree rodwc! Member reviews are extremely helpful.
  25. Ahh... welcome to the insanity.
