Is King in CN? Also can you trust that the 6497 is a true Swiss ETA? Yes, them's is bigguns. ;p
  3. I like the idea of the dealers sweating it out amongst themselves for a while. I mean everything is a cycle they'll be doing shooters at the local bar with each other (on us!) soon enough again. So let's just enjoy it while we got it.
  4. Can't speak of the HBB as I've yet to own one, but I can speak of PVD coatings in general. I've own/owned a couple of gen PVD'd watches and I can definitely say that they DO scratch. When the scratch is deep enough you can see the SS. One bad thing about that is that you can't just touch up scratches on PVD coating. So unfortunately you're stuck with it. Of course, you could have it redone, but that would/'could be expensive.
  5. Honestly I could give a rat's ass what they call them. A rep is a rep, but I've seen a few reps that come from the same factory (???) and use the gen as a starting point (i.e. Graham CF, Porsche Flat 6, etc.) that people have been talking about. After my purchase of the Graham CF I've pretty much settled on trying to buy what this particular factory is rep'n. That was what I was asking. A simple question. So... is this one of them??? I mean I seem to read various different things about this mysterious factory somewhere in China. Possibly in Mao's tomb???
  6. Ok, I'm VERY interested in this one. Is this another one of them "super" reps? Same factory as the AP ROO/Graham CF/Porsche Flat 6/etc.???
  7. Extra... Pres. Bush left off the "real" WMD (weapons of mass destruction) off the list. WATCHES!!!
  8. Looks fantastic!!!
  9. I doubt you will get any satisfaction from the dealer after 3 months, but it couldn't hurt to try. I say give it a go. Let us know how things turn out. Good luck.
  10. Welcome to the forum! It seems you've found the right place. We're all admited adicts here so I say just enjoy it. First rule of thumb is to read as much as you can before pulling the trigger on a rep. It'll save you tons of stress later.
