Nor do I Chris, nor do I but.....

Morning chaps, sorry been keeping a low profile after the weekend Where for art thou Johnny Riise??? @Ape - nice result, glad someone has finally burst that particular bubble (oh look we're the best after having played 4 crap relegation-level sides ) @JTB - is it just me or does JVOH look like the bastard lovechild of Marc Overmars and Franny Jeffers? Good luck against the 'Gers on Saturday - derbies are also not my favourite topic right now

And They Said It Couldn't Be Done...
docblackrock replied to ubiquitous's topic in General Discussion
They're not THAT impossible to find if you know where to look - however I'll happily give my gen silver flat top 3 calibre 1570 datewheel up for €800 Great first draft Randy Can't wait to see next run, you know what project it's put aside for (how's your dremel by the way ) -
I'd almost forgotten about this! Christmas will be coming early this year I fancy
-
You are correct, on so many levels. True, I give him credit for that but then there's no real hiding place - the team played very well, he had a mare. Not much different from Pepe last weekend. Both will put it behind them.
-
Hate to say it, JTB, but what did you expect? You may tell yourself he came from Real Madrid, but deep down I always think of him in that Everton shirt - once a Blue always a Blue, as Wayne Rooney once said (a week prior to leaving for Man U ) Anyway, cheer up, take pride and replace avatar with JVOH - he's your man alright, I was very impressed.

Cole, Gallas, Arsenal, Chelsea...clubs and players all deserving of each other IMO Wenger may be a good manager but as a person he's a complete numpty, plus we all know his legendary 'eyesight' issues, especially when it comes to fouls committed by his players. Yes Cole is a whiney little girl, but I state again, what motive could he possibly have to lie about the pizza hitting Ferguson "in the mush"??? Nothing to do with him personally and his grievances at the club or Chelsea either. Don't ruin my imagination on this one ok, it's priceless I can just picture it now *slap* oh to be a fly on the wall. Anyway I'll be sure to ask Fabregas himself (remember, next year in Madrid? ) so no point arguing.
-
YES YOU DO!!!! Personally if I ever meet Cesc (in the business lounge at Barajas next August ), I will shake him by the hand and thank him profusely for that act alone
-
Trust me Ken, he knows I share his pain, more than you realise If you're interested, here's an indepth explanation for future reference: Liverpool and Manchester United Liverpool and Glasgow Celtic
-
Not what Cashley Cole says....and what reason would he have to lie??? Source: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...sea/5341166.stm In his book, Cole also reveals his own version of events over the so-called 'battle of the buffet' - when slices of pizza were thrown at Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson following Arsenal's 2-0 defeat at Old Trafford in 2004. "This slice of pizza came flying over my head and hit Fergie straight in the mush," he revealed. "The slap echoed down the tunnel and everything stopped - the fighting, the yelling, everything. All eyes turned and all mouths gawped to see this pizza slip off that famous puce face and roll down his nice black suit. "All I can say is that the culprit wasn't English or French, so that should narrow it down."

Aaaah, the old North London rivalry rears it's ugly head Right, so Klinsmann's to blame for the scourge of the modern game, let's burn him at the stake As for Fabregas, sure he may not know how to dive (Thierry will tutor him no doubt), but he's lethal with a pizza slice
-
Poor old JTB Christ, how gut-wrenchingly frustrating to know it was there for the taking but for a couple of FUs Time for an avatar substitution there, perhaps else you could always photoshop a bullseye on his shiny forehead
-
Lyon should be 5-0 up couple of 'Real' dreamers on this board Celtic - ManUSA looks like a cracker - the so-called favourites (according to the biased media) are on the rack, c'mon the Bhoys!!!

Can't wait to see first pics -
You could be right although not quite sure how this will work? However, since I originally tipped them as an outsider (below), I'll happily place some dough on Valencia for the SF based on what I heard of their performance tonight - really pleased for Nando p.s. feeling very underwhelmed by the LFC v PSV result
-
Hmmm, wonder if they'll have the 7753 version out by May Bugger, Chronus will definitely jump and split my winnings further - crap, now where's that damn 'edit' button
-
glad to hear it, nothing worse than a fair weather fan
-
You think YOU have it tough??? sheeeeesh
-
Now now JTB, we don't want to exclude r11co completely do we? Oh and if anyone says Inter, you should read about some of the old times, 1965 European Cup SF springs to mind (I'm not THAT old but it's pretty well documented). Hold on, are Perugia Girls 2nd XI in the Champions League??? What's that? Their entire back four have been taking hormone supplements? Apparently they claim a doctor gave it to them and called it 'the Pill', yeah right @to Ken and Alan, relax guys May will come by in an eyeblink. If you follow it (Harry K is still at Liverpool last I checked) you'll find you might actually grow to love the game the rest of the world loves
-
Nah even they've got a chance - prove it by picking Man Utd Oh well, seems Puggy's gone for Real - he obviously believes in miracles!
-
Depends what you mean by 'correct' TJ. If you have a 1680 or 1665, then the genuine inserts had a very distinctive domed acrylic pearl - like a glob of transparent glue with an inner opaque lume 'yolk', if that makes sense??? Very very difficult to find, I got lucky though Sure Ubi will post a comparison pic from his crappy parts bin if not, I'll do the honours tonight (crap, Champions League night), sorry tomorrow then.
-
JTB, I wonder if for the benefit of our sleeping friends in the US & Canada (plus any last minute Euro entries!), we should extend the deadline until kickoff??? Can't see the harm... There is a UEFA countdown HERE, so any entries after this time (local times below) would be invalid. 0345 HK (Wednesday!) 1945 UK 2045 Europe 1445 East Coast US 1145 West Coast US I fancy PSV are going to feel the might of a Red backlash tonight! C"mon the 'Pool!

Since you're tooled up, suggest you trim those CGs down also . Also, the tube/crown mod IS worth it, trust me, nothing like that smooth feel... One thing bothers me though, from the looks of your photos, I don't think your insert is genuine as you say - the pearl gives it away, looks like a flattish plastic lume dot that mbws/wm's come with as standard, rather than the domed acrylic pearl with clear surround. Maybe a better photo would help?
