  1. NOOOO! DON'T WANNA WAIT.....ME WANT NOW!!!!
  2. Could be something to do with that fluffy pink towel perhaps YA BIG GIRLS' BLOUSE!
  3. 6542 project? Aah, that I would have the time, devotion (and parts suppliers!) that you two have....*sigh* Do keep us less fortunate mortals posted, please
  4. Randy, your cruelty knows no bounds I am speechless with drool....
  5. That's the POWER of the superdome!!! Like the jaw-droppingly gorgeous waitress that flirts with you disregarding presence of your GF. Despite all the willpower in the world and inevitable grief you'll get, you just can't help but stare and drool.... C'mon Bob, I need to know if my weekend plans have suddenly taken a cold turn
  6. Just so we're clear the genuine is the one on the left IMO. If I'm wrong I'll hitchhike to Alaska and prostrate myself at Bob's door in apology *edit* Bugger, I can see this coming, may as well grab my arctic gear now then
  7. OMFG I would say the rep superdome is the one in the middle of the 3 - the domeness (there I said it again ) is spot on the only giveaway is the reduced refraction (less mirroring side-on) compared with the genuine article on the right. But that doesn't take anything away from this project, just stunning. Bob - this revelation may affect our earlier PM discussion - thoughts? *edit* hmmm, the obssessive in me is looking at the other pics and I could be wrong, as it shows perhaps a tad too much distortion head-on, and the curved profile looks ever-so-slightly stepped, probably just a polishing/grinding fix. Still, we're almost there
  8. Welcome to the CL circle my friend, it's about time
  9. @r11co I had exactly the same problem when I opened up my case to air the movt and found the rusted screws (mine had rusted bridge screws too). Andrew apologised and promised to ship new one, no update yet but he's always seen me right...
  10. Sorry but to my eyes that's not till next month.... ...you Yanks and your funny dates
  11. Toothpick or plastic pokey thing in swiss army knife
  12. Not just the PR marker but the AM/PM window too... Fortunately I have it on reasonable authority that the designer responsible was taken out late at night into the backstreets of Firenze and.... with the
  13. Great pic pushing me ever closer to a 212 Whilst I'd have gone for Cohibas personally, there's nothing wrong with a RYJ - good enough for a certain Winston Churchill
  14. Euno, you feeling ok? Your post sounds like a (scary) hybrid between bres3000 and the klinkster
  15. Nice choice, I too am going to be PO'd by Andrew (not [censored] off BTW ) 45mm black is the way to go, much as the variety goblin in me screams "ORANGE!!!" (must not heed the goblin or else...) p.s. hope it comes without crooked 3 marker though
  16. I would be all over that SLR chrono like a rash... Anyone speculate what movt would do the job, rep-wise?
  17. I can confirm that, my local AD was very helpful - apparently though the black ones are outselling the orange and brown (yuk) rubber by 10-1 to the point where they are very difficult to source within the EU.
  18. As in heat up/soften glue, then resite? Does the pearl sink into the surround? Wasn't there someone selling oem-look pearls some time ago? Christ, I sound like a newbie with all my staccato questions
  19. Jim, small consolation but just received today my 45mm PO (black, natch) and I have the exact same problem! Going to raid my GFs (enormous) shoe collection, lots of those little silica baggies there As for other first impressions (compared next to the gen article), crown is a little shallow (taken from 42mm?), the second hand tip has too much red, should have more yellow in there for that trademark PO orange, and of course there's the infamous SMP pearl and bezel alignment issues. Apart from that it's a stunning watch for the money - just looking forward now to my rubber strap and it'll be photoshoot-time. p.s. can anyone remind me or point to fixes for the pearl and bezel?
  20. I still see no mention of Ti crowns....??? p.s. I'm sure we all send our best wishes to Tommy - I know he'll be back when he's good and ready.
  21. Just thinking that, don't recall anything in 2006. I still dream about that SRSD of his....
  22. @subzero - any chance you could dress with the vintage caramel, pleeeeeease? I'm painfully undecided between that vintage look and the cognac.
  23. Not bad, not bad, although that datefont is a little dodgy Thanks for posting and don't apologise...plenty of Tag fans here, me included...genuines anyway sadly not many decent reps exist. I have yet to see a Tag rep that tempts me - but I have a gen Monza and 4000 series, both of which I love. Not sure about the Link series, much prefer the Aquaracer and patiently looking forward to seeing the Calibre S variant which was supposed to be released last month but has now been delayed for at least another year
  24. Just gorgeous. My 217 should be here any day now and Drew is a fave of mine. Please please post pics with the SC caramel and cognac
