Here's my usual response to comments about flimsy Sub bracelets: Have you tried a genuine one?
If you take a Noobmariner bracelet, gently sand the sharp edges and oil it, it's very close to the genuine.
The reason for the flimsiness is the same as on the Seikos. Ultra-comfortable stainless steel bracelets. Sturdy Omega or Breitling bracelets are nowhere near as comfortable as the Rolex ones.

Well, I found the part number (part 430 on the ETA 2801 range: ETA part number 61.080.00) of the Click Spring I lost from my 2846 (and cannibalised from a 2836 to get the 1680 up and running ...) and was wondering if anyone has access to these?
