  1. Damn, catch up will you!
  2. Yeah, this always makes me laugh. Additional seals? What additional seals? How to waterproof a rep: test it. If it fails, test another. Repeat until one passes. As for the rest. Swiss-trained technicians? :Jumpy: :Jumpy: So far, we, the forum-members, have said time and time again that the services offered by Josh and Trusty are pure fiction and neither of them has defended themselves. Now I know silence isn't an admission of guilt, but ...
  3. Are you aware that TTK can ship from the UK?
  4. TTK is a Scotsman based in Thailand. He does indeed sell the superb-yet-cheap Rolex Sub known as the Noobmariner. Oh, and he didn't come up with the name Noobmariner.
  5. What about Jordan's new baby. Princess Tiaamii "We've put an accent over the first A to make it more exotic and two Is at the end just to make it look a bit different," You can't make this stuff up.
  6. White dial, please.
  7. ... looks like David still has it. I love the look on the goalie's face. It's like "Well, what was I supposed to do?" Not one his fellow goalies are going to take the mickey out of him for. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMDAUhKzu1Q Damn, sweet, sweet precision. Like Shakespeare the way it's meant to be done. Like Tiger on the tee, Marino in the pocket, Fogarty at Assen, etc.
  8. Find a gen with an ETA movement, Stainless Steel, AR Sapphire and 1000M water resistance for $300. (Yeah, I know. Find a rep with resale value and a warranty. Swings and roundabouts.)
  9. Oh, brilliant. Less archiving!
  10. Flash git! The one on the left today, methinks.
  11. I sincerely hope this isn't a $450 rep.
  12. You should get 2 days before it runs out. The Swiss movement isn't that expensive, but the AR-coated Sapphire doesn't help keep costs down. Lest we forget, the Asian Fish has Mineral Glass, not Sapphire.
  13. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Steelfish is the best ever rep. I hope it doesn't hold that title for long as I would love for the Aquatimer to knock it off its perch.
  14. If I find it, I'll let you know.
  15. My favourite was the "As seen on Stewardess' bedside tables" as used for the Big Pilot in Hong Kong.
  16. Ok, the BCE is a chronograph (stopwatch) using an Asian copy movement. The Fish uses a Swiss ETA 2824, just like the genuine Breitling. There's no way to tell without opening them up, basically. They both operate exactly like their genuine counterparts.
  17. They're both close, but the Fish has the exact same movement as the gen.
  18. Good prices for decent, popular watches in EU. Always a great recipe for fast sales.
  19. ps. yes, I was wrong about the subdial alignment on the Daytona.
  20. Hey, get a room ...
  21. They're fine. Not the speediest, but for the money they're damned good. I buy my cheap Panerais from Silix. I use Silix, TTK, Nakiraa and Precious Time. A dealer for every occasion and not a cartel in sight.
  22. All three Swiss versions are equally as accurate, but some people believe the black and blue versions need the AR more.
  23. Don't do it ... the white with AR is a thing of beauty.
  24. I swapped the straps on my big PAMs this morning. This was the result. As always, comments appreciated. click for 1280px wide version
