  1. Oops, I'll get my coat.
  2. I've just been informed that I've been a member here for a year! I'm officially no longer a noob! Woohoo! :thumbsupsmileyanim:
  3. Sorry, you don't get to decide that. A lot of experienced members rate the Asian 7750s and that experience gives their argument weight.
  4. There are exceptions: Planet Oceans and Spring Drives, for instance. The Omega Co-Axial gets Quartz-like accuracy, according to some owners, my brother included. The Seiko Spring Drive doesn't count, obviously, but ... damn! You'd be hard-pressed to find a replica as accurate as a well-tuned Omega Co-Axial.
  5. Simple test: Does it have three or four lines of text?
  6. If it were me, I'd ask for a replacement free of charge. I'd not get it, and I'd haggle for as much as possible. You should have received a working watch, but this is the rep world. You may have to settle for the fact that you will end up paying half for a replacement. It's what happens when you don't pay insurance: It's cheaper until you need it.
  7. If you can show that to King, explaining that the package was lighter than when it left, she'll believe you.
  8. No need to double-post. Was the weight written on the package or the receipt?
  9. Perhaps the dial is for a quartz model.
  10. Never used one or seen one before and now I want one.
  11. I have this one up for sale cheap soon ...
  12. Ok, you're wrong. The Asian 7750 and the ETA 7750 are both unidirectional autos. It's where the famous rotor-wobble comes from.
  13. As you can see, the smart creatives are all on OSX.
  14. Open a tube of superglue and put a tiny drop next to a window. You'll see the fumes sticking to the glass. Imagine these fumes getting inside your sapphire or on the dial. Or worse, imagine the fumes getting into the movement.
  15. I'm always doubtful of answering posts like this. My reasoning goes "If he doesn't know how to open his watch, what on earth can he do inside?" However, seeing as you have already removed one movement, it's fair to say you know what you're doing to some degree. The tool in the middle is the one I use: Just remember not to use Superglue.
  16. Ok, I need one of those.
  17. It was the season opener and it really crossed the line. So funny.
  18. Set the Roos on him! Watch out for your wedding vegetables.
  19. Valentino Rossi looks like having some serious competition from Casey Stoner, but it's not Stoner or Ducati's year yet. Rossi for the win. Having said that, after the fluke of Hayden taking the number one plate last year, anything is possible. Also this year should finally see victories from Edwards and Hopkins, which is good news for you Yanks, and maybe even a Kawasaki podium or two. Still, you can't write off the ex-250 champs like Capirossi and Pedrosa. In SBK, It looks like Toseland is truly on form, and Max Biaggi is at the sharp end, but with a crowd like Bayliss, Corser, Haga, Kagayama, and a handful of local wild cards, he looks like having a true baptism of fire. Oh, you were talking about cars? All the cool kids have moved to supporting motorbike racing instead.
  20. Who is your dealer?
  21. It's the current version of the Asian 7750
  22. I said pretend. ps. I'm not trying to stop your boycott. Good luck, but I'll be posting pictures of my 7750s while you're buying day-dates.
  23. I have four 7750s, one is serviced. All work fine. This is the serviced one:
