  1. Seeing as it's Omega day, let's see what the postman has brought ... Looks like I set the wrong date. ps. Strap issues made me lucky to have a 22mm Bob strap. Looks good on leather, eh?
  2. Good example. If you get a piece of paper and draw an optical diagram, most photographic effects are obvious though. It's a simple matter of training your brain to use optical diagrams in your head instead of on paper to predict effects.
  3. No. They may be the best for you, they may not. There are several dealers here. If you read the dealer reviews, you will be able to make your mind up. No-one here will tell you the best, although several will tell you their favourite. Best depends on what you want. If you prefer fast delivery, some dealers are not for you. If you not are willing to take a risk on quality for a lower price, some dealers are not for you. If you're in the EU and you are concerned about customs, there are dealers with stock in the EU. It's not as simple as one dealer is the best as if it were the others would have gone out of business here.
  4. It's a hommage. "For those of you are not aware these watches have been modelled on the luxury Panerai range and are an exact replica of their Luminor model, even down to the the special clamp that they employ to maintain the watches water resistance." You can buy it new for 100 quid: http://www.dpmhi.com/productdisplay.php?item=1236
  5. Yes. She deals in bad advice.
  6. If they upped the beatrate just for the PO, they overdid it. 28,800 is as wrong as 21,600. Oh, and they really should stop using the term "Asian Copy Eta 2824-2". Much like they claimed the Beginmariner was a "Asian Eta 2813, 21600bph movt", they caused a lot of confusion.
  7. Guys, he said SMP Chrono ...

  9. ... and ISO and lens quality.
  10. This reminds me of the other one ... A man in a bar goes up to a woman and says "Would you sleep with me for a million euros?" and she looks him up and down and replies "Ok." He repiles "So, how about for five euros?" She stares at him and says "Just what do you think I am!" "Oh," comes the answer, "We've already established that and now we're merely negotiating the price."
  11. And are generally more helpful!
  12. The Panerai spotting is ok. It's the telling us who dies that's annoying.
  13. Looking very good!
  14. I'll take a black one, please.
  15. Well, that's one bit of info I could have done without. Thanks for spoiling.

  22. If you're ever north of the border (after April) or across the channel (until then), I'll take you up on it.
  23. I think so as I only track my own timezone.
  24. There's a huge difference in a colour copy of a Japanese gen watch catalogue and TTK's amazing photos.
