  1. Not the same forum at all.
  2. *Pugwash pics up his rep Mont Blanc and starts waxing lyrical in heavy prose* In sooth, Sash, my fine supplier of ... um, what's a good word for 'stuff'?
  3. Sorted, geezer!
  4. ... and this is why you were suspended.
  5. ps. Barbara, if your intention was to remind people that you exist in time for Xmas, congratulations. It's worked, you're getting more clicks.
  6. Yes, but you let them do it. If you'd have swallowed your pride and not played it all cute, you'd still be there. Key words: repeated warnings. It's up to you to decide if it was worth it, however. I understand standing up for principles, but I also understand when they cost me money. You made your choice and I'm sure you're ok with it - I support your taking a stance. However, you can't go around saying that you were banned for saying "blessings" when that's plainly not what happened. That falls under that whole false witness thing your lot is supposed to rate 9th on the big list.
  7. I'm a geek, not a nerd. There's a difference and it's an important one. And yes, the Aquatimer Chrono is very geek-chic while still being sporty. It's an odd one.
  8. When I got my Sub, I thought it was huge. Mrs Pugwash commented how it was too big and shiny. Nowadays she wears a 183 and 40mm is about my minimum.
  9. Today is still this one, I'm afraid: Now, tomorrow and Sunday? We'll just have to wait and see. Yeah, it is a good one.
  10. Ah, I get it now. "After several warnings, you continue to push regarding board religion/Christianity rules." No, they suspended you because you didn't comply to the requests of the board admin and you tried to be clever. That's not on. They weren't offended by your use of the term "Blessings", they were annoyed by your repeated attempts at subversion and blatant disrespect of their rules. I wouldn't go round advertising this, if I were you. Remember, your right to freedom of speech and expression ends at your keyboard. You enter someone's forum, you play by their rules. (For anyone that doesn't understand the US Freedom of speech thing, it's a freedom of speech without government interference, not a carte blanche to spout either religious, fascist or hate messages or to convince someone else to commit murder.)
  11. You're joking, right?
  12. Like This?
  13. Nobody can't, indeed. Now show us the back
  14. I think we need this much ...
  15. To everyone recommending an ETA as a fix, please watch the video.
  16. VOTE SLEVIN!
  17. You'd have to ask JosNana.
  18. To a point. I think you'd agree that my rights to swing my fists around ends just in front of your nose, for instance. I don't object to being blessed by people, but it's like the old saying goes: "Whenever someone starts to talk to you about God, keep your hand on your wallet."
  19. It looks like the one on the right has been poorly repped. The one on the left hasn't. That's the one I was after - the one on the right just comes as a freebie if you do it.
  20. Nope. Different watch. Do keep up.
  21. Yes, only with a black dial, 7750 and proper date wheels.
  22. I don't think the IWC is anywhere near as legendary as the Cartier Santos, for instance. IWC is not that well-known outside of places like here. However, the single most legendary watch is the Rolex: In the public's eyes, there is no Sub, Daytona or DayDay (sic), there's just a Rolex. They couldn't tell you a model, but they can tell you the hands don't sweep on fakes.
  23. "His office and home are museums displaying choice counterfeit junk. It's a hobby many customs agents have." Yeah, We know.
  24. Sure, but "Honour your Father and your Mother"? How can someone under oath do that while providing evidence against an abusive parent? The Ten Commandments have no place in a courtroom. We don't need to get into this debate here, to be honest.
