  1. Vintage Rolex. Looked like a very, very old oyster (it'd need to be waterproof where it was stored)
  2. ...and do so for the watches in my signature! Check out all the polls here and vote for or against as many as you have time for.
  3. It's no joke. The Orange PO isn't effeminating on steel, so it must be girlificating only on the Orange strap. The B&R, however, is overcompensating for something.
  4. What does that make me? ps. Congrats?
  5. Excellent review!
  6. I agree.
  7. Panerai. You've inverted the A and I which makes it impossible to read right.
  8. Snap! The end of my road:

    Nice pic!
  10. I usually choose a watch in the morning or the night before, but sometimes when I'm photographing several watches, I'll change so the one on my wrist gets some lens time. On rare occasions I'll change when I go out in the evenings.
  11. It's so gloriously mid-atlantic. ps. At least Kenberg didn't win again.
  12. Today, I'm back to this because a friend of mine at work wanted to see it. He's interested in getting one.
  13. Tell him to go pound sand. He's no friend.
  14. Nice collection.
  15. Yeah, but can you imagine being the shmuck that gets asked "What's a flyback do? I've always wondered" when showing someone your watch?

    Wow !

... which all adds up to "you should have known better". ps. Yes, I remember your batman watch avatar. You've been around a while. Surely you could have made a more witty return ...
  17. ...and during the day, as the dial and hands have no lume.
  18. No, it's a seconds at 9 unmodified 7750 copy. Only on Tuesday. Seriously, the day wheel is only off a couple of days a week.
  19. Less.
  20. My avatar is dynamic. It cycles through 4 watches like my signature below. which one were you looking at?
  21. When you're talking about 1080p, you're talking about 1080p50/60 which will be the standard in about 5 years time when the bandwidth issues are dealt with. However, movies are filmed at 24fps so you only need 1080p24, which if your TV can't do, you can use inverse telecine to get that to 1080i60. BluRay and HD-DVD movies will be 1080p24.
  22. Yay, I won some raffle tickets!
  23. Rumours I'm hearing have to do with Apple and Tivo. I wonder what the final name of the iTV will be. ps. I too am getting one. I'll use my G5 as a file share and control the lot from my MacBook.
