In that case, I will explain to the readers why the link can look real in an email and not necessarily be real. If a link looks like the one JTB posted, which was the regular https://www.pp.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run you need to visit to login to pp, then sometimes a different address can be hidden behind it. So, even though a link can look like the genuine pp link, it can actually link elsewhere, much like this: https://www.pp.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run As you can see, the text is the same as the pp link above, but the link behind it can be something very different indeed. Oh, the site behind that link is perfectly safe, by the way. I'd not be that evil.

Why? The link wasn't dangerous.

That links to the real pp site. In the phish mail, it'll have an "onclick" sending to a different address.

Just to show that sometimes the small ones make it, here are two of ours, rescued from a feral mum who lost them due to building works. Hand feeding every four hours was required. As can be seen from this pic, they grew up healthy and lazy. Sometimes these tales have a happy ending.

My photo is from 10 years ago. I've changed a lot in 10 years, mostly in the hair. Back then, I had shoulder-length coke-can red hair. Today, it's short and its natural dark-brown colour. For the last ten years, it has amused customs officers greatly and was never questioned. It's a shame to have to get a new passport with a normal-looking photo.

Why not create some $5, $10, $15 and $20 "Buy Now" buttons?
