  1. Found? I made it for you using Quicktime Pro and Photoshop.
  2. I played a lot of online Grand Prix Legends back in the day, and the usuals, UT, Q3, Half Life ... I've recently got hold of rFactor and will be dual-booting the MacBook in to Vista with the old Force Feedback wheel to see if I can still drive.
  3. Is this a joke? Batman was always intended for kids, right up until Frank Miller re-invented him in the 80s. Have you read any silver/golden age Batman?
  4. I thought Rolex no longer authenticated watches. I too could be wrong.
  5. The desirable MM is the MM600 Spring Drive. This will never be repped as the reason for getting one is the movement.
  6. If you own a rare watch with a trashed dial, that's what it'll cost you to replace your dial.
  7. I'm not so sure. What price would you call reasonable? Anything over $20 and someone, somewhere will think you're insane. I get annoyed by anyone calling people who spend vast amounts of money on collectables stupid, because we're all in that group. I bet you that at least three in four people, if they had approaching limitless wealth, would consider spending over $10k on a watch easy.
  8. The funny thing is that if I put my mind to it, this would be easy to buy with the proceeds of my reps: http://www.watchreport.com/2005/05/the_seiko_marin.html
  9. Didn't we just hear this one? http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=77609
  10. I was, yes. Shows how much attention I've been paying. One down, then. Next, we need to get rid of deciding races in pit stops and we'll be back on track.
  11. F1 needs a fight. Let's be honest, it was deathly boring while Schumie was winning, and that wasn't helped by the F1 management letting him cheat. If he'd not have been let off with as much as he was, he would still have won, but it'd have been a better sport. I think we're nearly back to F1 being about the drivers and not about the politics. If we could just get rid of red-car bias, electronic aids and pit stops, it'd be a sport once more. Then again, I've got MotoGP and Superbikes if I want to watch driver-driven motorsports, so I'll shut up now.
  12. Thanks for telling me this in the subject. I'll delete the recording from my PVR now I don't need to watch the race.
  13. The video was real. I didn't realise Rolex made a watch with a BETA21 until I looked it up. It's not a Rolex movement in the 5100. As for the Ofrei-sold ones, if I knew anything about them, I would have posted.
  14. Ok, that sweeping Rolex TT posted is gen. It just doesn't use a Rolex movement. It's this one: http://www.oysterquartz.net/the_quartz_date_5100.htm
  15. Oh? Is that a gen? Compare it to this: http://www.2east.de/rolex/anlegen.mov Tick ... tick ...
  16. I've been considering it for a while. I reckon I could get a Spring Drive fairly easily if I managed to get a decent enough price for most of my reps. If I were to do so, I'd start buying reps again for the variety. Consider it a big reset button.
  17. Seriously? For mere mortals like us, there's one stall that sells the so-called MBW watches. Apart from that, effectively the rest is [censored]. You can find reps in Patpong or anywhere else, but the quality is shoddy. Save your time and use a dealer on the forum. I wasted a lot of time looking for decent reps; time I could have spent watching girls removing their clothes or something.
  18. Four hour stop-over? This will be your first visit then. Go to MBK (shopping centre) and find the stall. Then, ask for the watch you want. When they say they can have it for you tomorrow, the correct response is to cry and run away. When you get to the airport and realise you've missed your flight and that you now do have the time to pick up the watch tomorrow but didn't order it, suicide is an acceptable response. Four hours is maybe enough time if you know the city well. Otherwise you'd be hard pressed to buy lunch in that time.
  19. Neil is trading next door at RepGeek. http://www.repgeek.com/forumdisplay.php?f=58 If you need to get in touch with him, that's where to do it. I doubt he'll ever be forgiven for what he did here.
