Since I have got the 089 I have worn it all bar 2 or 3 days, I don't realy understand why but I just don't want to wear another watch, not my gens not my self builds, not my other reps I take this off now and again like the hot tub and then just put it back on again right after. Has any one else found this?

Some people just don't want to take advice, and don't want to spend any thing to make it work properly It's their loss!

Wrong a 1570 runs the wrong way but a 16610 (3135 I think) date wheel runs the same way and can be used as a very expensive overlay

Sorry I don't play sports, I know that many watches have survived all sorts if things that I have put them through but the fast movement and sudden impacts that your watch would suffer in golf or tennis or chopping wood( I do a lot of that) would have a negative impact eventually, now running, weights and lots of other sports may be fine but tennis??

I would not recommend playing tennis in any mechanical watch, gen or rep or golf for that matter

Good question on both sides, eBay or o e if the collector sites for gen, on the rep you may have to wait untill some one has a broken one for the rep hands,

Sorry but what a load of bs, you would not take a gen Pam in water because it does not have a screw down crown????? What purpose do you think the crown guard does? Once you find that out you may also realize that it's function is better than a screw down crown. To the OP my Pam 089 is water resistant, and if you search back in my posts there has been great success with water resistant reps but you have to get them tested and checked, but you should do that with a gen as well every two years if you are going to dive in it
