  1. Right he is warned, if you see any odd posti g or shouting from him let me know
  2. And dealing with him
  3. I would love to help but i just dont understand what you are on about being to small
  4. Peter there are amultitude of posts about 7750 seconds at 6 and the reasons why it stops In short the movement has a number of transfer gears to move the seconds from 9 to 6 these have too much friction due to no jewels fitted, it is an engineering example of a flawed idea, there are fixes, but non are totaly proven, non are cheep, take a week off and search and read, (it will take you that long, the daytona's have the same issue) And that is the reason i dont have a 3714, even though i love them just like you. As a stock rep it is not great apart from on the shelf to look at.
  5. This would be fine with a gen dial, or MBW as the date window is in the same place on both. The DWO corrects the date position from the ETA to Rolex 1570
  6. If you think that is too expencive then make your own, how to do it is in my signature, but i tell you what if Denimhead makes these i will buy one because i know how hard it is to make one.
  7. Not good state at all, We are aware!
  8. If it feels like you are breaking some thing you already have, just dont hand wind them if you dont have to, if Ziggys posts are still available he gave a very in depth post on this and i have seen the damage my self and had to repair it on more than one occasion. You have to remember that some people are mechanicaly sympathatic, other would describe them selfs as "ham fisted" just look at Nanuq!
  9. Thanks for that but the question was DWs as in Date wheels not DWO as in Date wheel overlays and DH answer was which i politly corrected him
  10. DH the 36 and 42 date wheels are interchangeable
  11. That case does look stunning!!!! HH got any left?
  12. Well I have not had any comments but it does not stop me wearing it. The GMT is such a good function as I know at a glance when the Office in New York is open and when I can expect an answer to emails that I have sent.
  13. If any one here happens to have an gen ti Pam and goes into a Pam AD can they ask what price a new style bracelet in ti will cost, you can see them on line but there are no prices and the Pam 89 is such a nice watch I would be tempted if the price was not to far over the horizon
  14. Yep I think a low PR could be an issue but don't worry to much as my gen 1680 does it now and again
  15. What time are we talking
  16. Nice work finding all those parts at that price UBI, enjoy!!
  17. No idea but that is odd for the UK
  18. I dont know, do you see any differences between the rep and gen
  19. Ok so no definition of gently, so i will just add this if you can avoid winding an A7750 then avoid it, one of the transfer gears has weak teeth, if the reversing wheel is sticky the weight of the rotor trying to spin will break the teeth off and then you are up the creak with out a paddle
  20. You dont make a lot of sence to me, the Sub should not be hard to rep but it has been through a million of versions to get right and the pams too, and as to Hublot technical skills http://www.hublot.com/de_DE/news/detail/3465/hublot-presents-the-antikythera-sunmoon-watch
  21. An easy one today, Residents of the city need not apply
  22. But only after he has a warrent to open it and a rolex trained watchsmith there to do the opening. seriosly guys customs have for more to worry about then noticing that your cyclops is 2.5x and not 2.3x
  23. from Cousins UK
  24. My gen 1680 is just like the rep you see the hole
