  1. If you find that the gmt gear is slipping then it can be cleaned and the a small drop of D5 will normally provide the sticktion needed
  2. But when you look at somthing like a Tag or a breitling with an ETA, or even IWC for that matter! on the second comment there are some that come scarily close!!!!
  3. If you get the right one at the right brice it could be the best investment you ever made, Newman daytonas were not popular as far as i know when first released, bond subes were nothing special either, but look what they command now! Yes most of the time, but there have been some that have astounded with the quality like the first steelfishes, also on a value for money, what other "swiss" (if you are lucky) powered, stainless steel, saphhire crystaled watch can you buy on the high street for rep prices,$300-400, Not a lot! it is just the quality control that lets them down most of the time.
  4. Gruß aus Berlin, Aber nur diese woche
  5. How about you posta picture of this cap as I have never seen one. Then we will know what you are on about.
  6. I agree there are a few that are very nice to look at but not good for every location
  7. Certain vintage rolex came with brushed silver date wheels yes Vintage Rolex movements have a date wheel that turns anti clockwise Eta have a date wheel that turns clock wise The date position on a Rolex movement new or old is in a position closer to the center of the dial ( not by a lot but it makes a difference ) than an eta movement A Rolex date wheel will not fit an eta movement either new or old Date wheel overlays silver or other wise over come all the issues above. But are a PITA to get right and fit.
  8. How about a vibrator and some slippers? If she does not like the slippers she can go *%#¥ her self? Actualy I may even use that one for my wife this year
  9. Hmmm I like the dark rehaute Good work
  10. I was just a bit shocked that's all, I am glad you responded. Really the two worlds should not meet but I know they do! A bit like a gentleman and a 2 bit hooker But reps cost a bit more than that lol
  11. Can you explain the "I am an ambassador " bit you know this is a rep site? Lol
  12. Thanks for this I see the crown guard as the main flaw on the rep It is also a shame that the movement decoration is wrong but that is inside I really don't see the point of fitting a Swiss 7754 in their as it will still be wrong and won't run any better than a good running a7750
  13. Looks good Mark On the EU GtG I need to see how the plans fall on the knocking down of the old house and when that may happen as there is a lot of work for me there to do but I will see. The plan was for me to host this year so i will get onto it.
  14. To the OP's question... I always go for the Swiss ETA if possible. There's a lot to be said for the quality of the movement, and having a watch you know isn't going to just STOP in the middle of the day. THAT is a "tell"...for sure. I disagree that the Swiss will not stop 4 or 5 years ago but now I think you have a better bet with the a 2836
  15. Just a quick one If any one swaps there leather strap out when new will you give me an option to buy it. Thanks
  16. Really it is a question of how much are you into this ? The TC is the full chocolate banana, as good as it gets before frankenvile and that's and expensive train to get on but at least with the TC you are stood on the platform, any thing else less a V2 WM9 and you are not in the same zip code as the train station! I love analogies !
  17. A bit of a bump on this topic For this baby The new ingy titanium GMT Me liky
  18. I have seen so many faux chronos on qvc hyped up with advertised huge retail prices but yours today for only a couple of hundred when in reality it is not worth 20$ on the beach on pataya
  19. Just put some light bends in the washer
