It all depends on the amount of ultra violet energy it absorbs (in modern non nradioactive lume) so a UV light will give off more UV energy and charge the lume better, but the main thing that afects the lume on a dial is the amount and quality of lume applied to it.
Welcome to RWG, all you need to know is here, i have been looking for a good VC overseas, there were two versions, one with good Ar but the wrong date windo and one with a good date window and no AR and that one has dissapeard from sales, but all it needed was some AR, keep your eyes open and one may come up now and again, i belive that the other version is for sale used in the trading area right now
Ok That looks like the crown its self has come apart.
It could be fixed by removing the remaing part of the crown from the stem putting it back together and pressing it back together with a tiny bit of glue to hold it all as one piece.
I have had the same issue with rep ar, it is not as hard as it could be but then Gens have the same problem, i think a lot of gen PO owners have removed the outer coating, or you can get it redone, but this is a SFSO i am not sure if the bezel can be removed, any one ever done it?
Just got this crystal back today from Caruwe and i think it looks pretty good back in its old home, a quartz Navitimer that i have been working on.
Photos not even auto corected taken under my work bench light and you all know my photography is crap, i just point and shoot, the gold tint looks perfect on this old TT titanium
Thanks Uwe great work
