  1. Spend some time reading this site you will eventually find the area where you can find the sellers, the time you spend in reading will be more than rewarded when it comes to buying
  2. Welcome but prepare for disappointment on the muliner tourbilion, as a good rep does not exist
  3. I believe that the movement has to come out for the pusher to be screwed on correctly at least on my BB i had to remove the pusher stem from the inside to grease the seals and you need to hold the screw from the inside to get them tight again. As an unrecommended short cut a bit of loctite 342 on the threads and then screw it back on, the locktite will set and hold it on the threads but as i say i would not recommend it for a watch you like.
  4. I was on the phone to cousins the other day about these parts, i was informed that they dont have black day rings in german, so if any one has found a source let me know please

Where are you in the EU prozac?
  7. See the education happens all the time
  8. It does state it is a prototype, I am sure once it is finalized they will have it on stock
  9. In the 38mm Railmasters there are two versions this with the worse thick numbers and the better version with the thinner numbers (i dont know how to get the bigger pictures out of the flash these days) Mine with the thinner numbers on a gen strap and bracelet Both versions are available from most sellers, if you are going to get one get it on stainless and then get a decent strap, dont try and buy the gen strap and deplyant as last time i was quoted
  10. Taka came through with a new dial and movement so that i could get this baby back working as it should
  11. Real nice project there Ronin, i thought it was a kingston at first, I hope it gives you great pleasure to wear as do all my home and hand made projects.
  12. You may be surprised there have been times when the rep of a limited edition watch has been released before the gen, remember the pam cali dial? Panerai released a photo, the rep makers had it out before the real deal, only to find that Panerai changed the dial, it was at least two days before the rep was fixed and re-relieved. The details and all the rest will come in time and education and before you know it you will sound as boring as we who obsess about a 100th of a mm Buy the right watch and it will gain more than you think. If you had a new comex seadweller (insert a number of vintage rollys here) in the 70s, kept it in the safe, that $2-300 would be worth 10s of 1000s now
  13. No not accurate and running an asian 21j with out the auto wind but still a looker, particularly if you go for the closed back. I don't think it will be that expensive either
  14. To a layman on the street even if you hand him the gen he will think it is a rep unless he belives YOU can afford it and even then his mind will be saying rep as the sub is the most repped watch An there are people here and there who will not only tell you it is a rep but where you bought it from and what version it is, you could add gen parts and thy would tell you what you added. But the watches we get now are such a far cry from what we had 3 years ago. RWG is to my mind the best horological site, here is where you can be educated with out a doupt Welcome
  15. What about the super avenger, it is a big watch and the new cases are about spot on arnt they Oh and welcome
  16. Is that the MKII kingstone??
  17. I recon that i could mod the F A Jones into a regulator movement, or swap the decorated bits from the F A Jones on to the regulator base plate
  18. A fine reproduction of a German Sextant watch used by Werner von Braun and his engineers circa 1945- at Peenem
  19. No that is only a half dot, on the later versions the white circle was made smaller so that the whole circle could be printed and filled
  20. PT has always been one of the senior good guys and has been in this business for longer than 90% of the members of the board
  21. If it is only plus 10 sec a day i would leave it be
