that is a vintage model i have one that i wonn on a PT raffle years ago, i did a bit of vintageising after i dropped it and also replaced the movement (new Molnija19j) with a vintage molnija 17J because A, i broke the new one and B, the older one has a microstellar balence and looked nicer. I brushed the case and fitted a very cheep high plexi glass to it. I belive a lot of the collectors can still source this one. I think any of the more vintage chronos would be a nice fit, The speedy moon type watches are pretty small by todays standards at only 40 mm or a seconds @ 9 daytona. I would go for it and try to get the box and papers at a later date as someone said above they are available, and if you get it serviced you can get the cret at that point from panerai, i think this will be a good investment!

me too, i have been wearing my ingy and speedmaster out in the field for the past 3 months, if i had the gen ingy with me i would have worn that too, they are tools to tell the time, good looking tools at that but it is like having a car and not driving it! But if i damage the rep i will just repair or write it off, if i damage the gen then i would be pissed off to say the least! My names Andy and I love Reps

I always understood the swiss eta in a rep to mean the movement is made in and ETA factory in Asia, i have neve had false hops of my movement being made in the land of swiss chease then shipped to Asia, and assembled in a rep, And if i want an ETA movement these days i will ask Chris @ eurotimez to get me one, These movement would have been bought enmasse by large makers with names like invicta and sandoz from the Asia ETA factorys, and a small percentage will be sold off by them or a dodgy supply house, in to the rep world. If i want a gen SWISS movement i will drive there and get one
