Why not get a SFSO, get it waterproof tested and seviced, still wont be over $450 and you have a great watch that looks great.

Try a scotchbrite pad first you wont cause so much damage, best would be a dremel wheel that looks like one, works realy well.

The UPO lite and asian steelfish do not i repeat DO NOT have an asian 2824 copy, the movement in these watches has nothing remotely to do with 2824 or eta no matter what they advertise it as. The only watch i have seen that had a 2824 copy was a sub from river.

If i know i have a nice close fitting part then i use clear nail varnish, so far i have had no problems, the reason i use this is that it holds well but can be broken when i need to and cleaned off easily as opposed to epoxy or cyanoacrylate glue.

We also know there are many diferent factorys some will have a gen line of watches in rolex/pam or what ever form and will have and illegal side assembly line do ing the reps in great volume, just have a look here now if that factory is not making named vesions of that watch they must be stupid! but on to your point The movement yes they should be good and they all can be wht is lacking even in the ETA on a lot of occasions is proper servicing and QC, you standard 21j asian if properley assembeled and oiled will last years and also the chronos. The case material, we all know that rolex does not use asi 316 stainless but a higher grade that has a differnt shean but also is harder to work so the reps are in the easeir and cheeper 316 steel. The one thing that 99% of reps are missing is quality control.

I have done a lot of sport with my railmaster on (40mm) but why not try the PO or what ever you have on a velcro or G10 band that way you can wear your watch and fitt it exactly as you want for running.

Just been having a look at the gens and i quite like them, the Day Date with teh glod bezel struck me the most. next were the militare withthe crowns at 6, correct me if i ma worng but most of these are 42mm ish and smaller than most pams?

A 177h would be a great start, i got one as my 4th pam and like it more than the 47mm ones, light smaller and non intrusive. Just be aware that onece to wear a pam even if you think you wont like it but had to give it a try it will bite!
