Amp Pm sent Thanks for the replys, i am looking to merg two of my fav omegas, the railmaster and PO, i love the raily but has no date but good readability, love the PO but some times a sports watch is too much so by merging the two i should get just what i am looking for. Another thing i love about the raily is the good lume even on the rep so if amp come through this will be ausome lume! I have the case, a gen crock and deployment, a 2824 waiting for it brand new, now just need a movement holder and may be hands, Railmaster or PO hands?

Most asian 17j movement are copys of the myota 8215, a very good movement and 100% reliable, even id your asian mov dies you can replace it for less than a watchmaker would charge you to take the back off a watch, i replaced the noobmariner works for less than

Most of the 7750 works (the most used chrono movement) either asain or swiss has a noisy rotor, the bit that spins round and winds the spring and keeps the watch going. A true swiss 7750 will run you $500 for the movement alown, the new asian 7750 has excelent reviews so far, this is the 28.800 bph not the 21.600 older versian, As long as the movement has not been modded to run the sub seconds @ 6 position. All reps with this or any movement will have the same problems, Quality control and servicing ie, has it had any of both. Spend some time particulary here and you will learn some great info.

I tend to lean towards silix recently, i have never had a problem with his representations and comunications, payment is also easy. I had mu porto from him in the group buy last year and is perfect. I think with the seconds @ 6 it can be a bit of a lotery. TTK is also great to deal with, just read his rules first but you may have a problem with payment as no pp. Where are you? I would just strip it first and see what colour the leather is when it dries first and see what colour you want it. non of mine were the same colour when they dried. Let it dry naturaly so that the oils in the leather wont dry out and it wont scrink. Then i give them a good application with "Leder pflege" just a wax for water proofing leather. i was swimming in the 177h on saterday and it is just fine. V as your photo skills look better than mine take a couple of pics as you do it so we can all see it change. i always find when i have done something my self the feeling is better than just bought something and fitted it.
