Yes but this discussion between old and new MBW confuses me as i have had both case (1680 new and 5513 old) and all the parts from one fit perfectly to the other, I have ne3ver seen a difference apart from the 5513/1680 and when i have seen newer 1665 cases i have not seen a difference. The Name G.S.W has also bigged up a lot of sales posts from Rockarep As having two user accounts is in direct contravenetion of Rule 9 the account Rockarep will be deleted. Both names have been posting from the same IP address and even used the same paypal account. The membership is advised to inform the Admin team if they suspect shilling posts or the use of double accounts. If any person is currently dealing with Rockarep you can make your mind up if you would like to continue to deal wuth G.S.W

All the 1680s i know that have Gen style bezel (MBW and Cartel short CG versions) constructions take a clarks crystal with out issues,

where is the 1680 from what maker and what part did you have to shave on the crystal

Ah ha ok yep the DW got ya but look closely at the teeth on the main sping barrels and check they are the same you may find that the 2846 has slightly larger teath???

To be honest i have never tried this but i would think you have to use the main spring from the 1846 as well, the palet fork you may get away with but why not just fit the 2846 in the AP diver????

I would sugest that if you want ti get into modding and working on watches then start easy, somthing like a Pam and work up, what you are talking about is learnint to build a car and starting with formular one, start with a mini!

Unless you know what you are doing with this movement then dont take it apart, also there ate two versions one with a screwed from behind bezel and one with a press on besel what part do you want to take apart
