  1. I know that Pete. but if I had a gen with a tritium dial the first thing I would do would be to send it for a service and get a service dial and hands for it. I want my watches to glow so I can read them when I wake up same with reps. The shame about that dial is it has a nice texture but no lume
  2. @ miss understood How about a curry wurst
  3. Just got word from Yuki no lume which is a shame as the texture of the red sub dial is good
  4. depending on the year a 9315 or a 93150
  5. Ahh Bolocks! the Rolex font is far to bold, and the crown is wrong is there a differnt MK version that may be more like the yuki?
  6. Any one have one? do they glow? what are the glaring faults? This one here interests me or this one
  7. Oh and i would have a comparison look at the Oyster perpetual font on the dial it looks odd to me
  8. I would sax looking at that crown guards and lug holes and a 93150 bracelet
  9. The dial feet locations are the same for all 28xx so a disk for a 2836 will fit on 2824 and the other way round
  10. No , an IWC pocket watch movement with a modern case dial and hands
  11. well if they are fixing the rehaute any way then they should make it take a gen style crystal and gasket and a gen bezel then it will fly
  12. you would have to remove the crown, another regular souce or leaks is the crystal, and crystal gasket, i have had watches with non round crastals in the past that would not be water restistant no matter what, other s with crushed and deformed crystals gaskets
  13. You should see the gasket/oring on the case back or the case when you opened it
  14. look here http://www.tz-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=202936 No i am not the seller i just saw it and thought of you lot
  15. if these are 7750 varients the problems lays with the clutch that allows the hands to be set and yet still be driven by the movement, just like the clutch in your car if it is slipping the rev counter will show revs (second hand still moving as it does not go thought the clutch) but the wheels wont turn or turn slowere than the revcounter is showing, Only solution is a service or new movement, if this is new get in touch with the seller
  16. Quite true MM a replacement is warrented, and dont get fobbed off by stupid sales staff who dont know there arse from elbow, the problem lays with with the 12 hour counter brake.
  17. I think you are looking at a few hundred, and i would be specific about what you wanted doing, IE dont change the dial and hands, if you are not specific then you may get a brand new looking watch back
  18. Merry christmas to ALL! Particualy thinking of Cats, not seen him post for a couple of days so i hope it is because he has been resting or celebrating
  19. It is a fairly simple fix but requires the dial, hands and calendar plate removing. Take it back to the AD and get them to fix it under warentee
  20. Good Deal Invest in getting it serviced by omega and it will be a real gem
