I don't know about all the reps but I had a speedy for a couple of years and I never had a problem unscrewing the crown to wind it every evening to wind it

I don't think it would be a good idea to list them all out in the open I don't think they would appreciate loosing the sources for parts that they have built up over the years if the supplier hears about them being used in reps

You could just remove the tub and turn the thread off and then shorten the stem so that it seats correctly

So it looks like a gen stem but a gen stem wont fit?? This is quite an important question when it comes to this as stems are an item that are required now and again, as you say your self

They can be micro welded up and redone I have been told. I even went on a demonstration of a micro welder and what that can do I was impressed!

With reference to the stem I wonder it is possible to retro fit the sliding pinion ect from the 3135 to make a gen stem fit. what is the stem that comes with it though If it is an ETA 2824 type we may be better off in the long run with that one as at least they are easily available

may be possible i have made old Air king gen hands fit an ETA (apart from the seconds hand)

Just to clarify the hands on the rep are A .05 larger than gen hands (so gen hands could be opened up to fit or B .05mm smaller than gen hands so a gen set is not going to fit full stop as they are too big
