The chrono suffers from the seconds at 6 movement (if you dont know do a bit of reaserch before you buy one)
if you want an IWC chron i have to recomend the 3717, simple movement swap with 7750 and the rep movement works also
no quick mod becuase if you machine the rehaute then the dial will be too small i did it in my 1680 and was able to remove 0.10mm and still have enought to keep the dial in place that was all
Wokky rehaute, Oyster perpetual font looks wrong (serif fonts), inner CGs need work and the crown looks too tall
but look on the bright side it does have lug holes
I dont think you average Rolex owner could tell the difference over a dinner table and if the small details bother you like that then best thing you can do is get a Tw sub from BK and do a little modding then no one will be able to tell the difference
If it is a question of language I offer to translate it from German to English
And post both versions so every one can see that I have not amended the details.
Yes something that is a classic or a future classic where there is very little risk of loss on the long run. If you have the right watch is is probably the best investment ever think of the person who bought a 1970 sub with red lettering and compare that $200 investment (but bought because they wanted a good watch rather than investment) to the value today!
I was this morning and last night but after the mini GTG last night (we were drinking so no photos) I attended another mini GTG this lunch time 400 km away
Any way when are we going to Sweden?
My wristy
I saw this in a rolly AD in Basel and it really caught my eye but the price was a little higher than I would pay for a hand wind. But what a stunning design and also note the silver print on black background date wheel. Apparently this is the only bit that is (possibly) not gen on the watch but the only rule with vintage rolls is that there Is no rule!
I will upload a better resolution photo when I get home.
I have to say that Basel is one of the nicest places I have seen so far and the company there make for wonderful evenings. Thank you very much for the time Val and I have a great reason to come Mack again soon.
