I think the MBK does not sell 16520 case-set anymore. Here are my two franken. One is with gen case and the other one is Phong with gen bezel, crown, and crystal.

My two cents: I spent a fair bit of time looking for an accurate rep DRSD dial. The conclusion is that there is none available. Each maker product has some flaws. Note that the current one avialable on the market is a replica of Mark 4 dial. The charactersitcs are "skiinny Coronet" and closed 6 (610 m). Let's start with Ebay seller: New model of NDTrading (the older ones are better) Older NDTrading (A geninue collector even said "he paid his lession to be able to tell the difference". Lastly, I found that MQ offers the best dial on the market. I think if you can widen the indices on 6 & 9 o' clock in The Zigmeister's tritum lume (like what Freddy did on his dial). That will make a rather perfect one.

tooday my 1655 arrived.. I replaced it with a different bracelet and took some quick pic.. I will take proper pics this weekend. I actually quite like it. yes, there are flaws.. but it is a good base watch for a nice project. I bought the DG one. so its bang for the bucks. Time to work! This will be the dial to go into it.

Given it is the saphire model, you can trade in RSC.. I wouldn't offer more than 3.3k factoring all the costs for a RSC service & replacing all parts.. feel sorry for the watch flex

The one that King offers is based on a noob submairner case (with an asian movement). I think Josh's is a 16610 sub (with ETA). BK uses noob with ETA..... please note that while noob case has better case profile, you can't find a replacement aftermarket crystal that does not have the etched Rolex Crown at 6'o clock...

@omgiv, Nice stuff you have there! Regarding matter varnish, I have always used Tamilya and have great success. @gplracer, 1655 and 5513 are the DW cases I have tried (ended up getting a refund). The one that is shown on the Ebay is for 1680. I am not too sure about his 1680, perhaps other may have tried it and advise their comments here? Flex

Phong's PP has been my all time favrourite rep. I have always wanted to get that, but the other "smarter" side of me always pulled me to gen purchase. If i were to spend that money, I would get a vintage Rolex 18k Sub . flex

Hi Robaer I must admit that am not the expert knowing all the in's and out's of the current rep in MBK. I personally bought my 5513 at the MBK mall in November 09 and verified it myself. I think Paul may be able to help you in finding an old school 5513 since he is based in BKK. Also, my next project might be of interest to you. It will be based on a $50 cheap 5513. The mid-case looks acceptable. I brushed the lugs to replciate the overpolished look and created some endlinks mark on the lugs. I am waiting for a refinsihed dial from MQ and will be getting a old school ETA movement. This is a brand new case that has never been worn.

Robaer, if you need a case that will accept a gen dial, bezel+insert, crown+tube, gen crystal, and gen springbars, a good old MBK does all that. List of things that MBK can do gen dial ---------------------------------------------------------- *checked* bezel+insert -------------------------------------------------- *checked* crown+tube --------------------------------------------------- *checked* gen crystal -------------------------------------------------- *checked* gen springbars - you will need one of the modders here to help you with this one.
